I friend of mine emailed me and said that a friend of her's was telling horror stories about debt collectors.

She saild that a debt collector could call the a judge and have a warrant for your arrest issued. I told her that's what I'd call a "Suburban Legend". It was a myth.

But my friends email got me thinking about the many debt collection myth's that may be out there. Have you heard any?

Can we persuade God? Listen:

The Isrelites danced around a golden calf at the base of Mount Sinai, the mountain upon which Moses, at that moment, was receiving the Ten Commandments. When God told Moses that their acts of idoltry warrented their destruction, Moses argued with God: if God destroyed Isreal, the Egyptians would say God only took the Isrealites out of Egypt to slay them in the desert. This would be counterproductive to the image of a beneficent Creator of the universe. God agreed and retracted the plan of national destruction (Ex. 32:14)

So, can we persuade God?

Does it like have to be someone who works there? Or is it just people who come up with ideas and stuff and send McDonalds an email? And what would happen if someone came up with an idea that McDonalds tried, but it really made people sick, and maybe even get dead a few times, then would the person who though of tthe idea get in trouble? I want to know cause I have at least three good ideas for McDonalds to try, and I was going to send them an e-mail, but I am afraid if they try my idea and it gets some customer really sick then I could get in big trouble.

stupid yes, iv had sex quite a few times without a condom for the past 4 weeks with my g/f we don't like them and i know eventually no protection = pregnant, she has agreed to go back to birth control, I know their are products that will kill anything just in case and was wondering what are some good ones and what prices? and where can I get them? We were all at my Mother n law's for Christmas. My husband wasn't there yet. Things were going wrong. I forgot to put the turkey in and there was no breakfast etc. THEN I invited this big black guy over to the house. We were making out on the couch "and stuff". RIght on the couch in front of everyone! They didn't say anything though. THen my husband showed up. I hurriedly pushed the guy out of the back door. When my husband came in I just pretended nothing was wrong but he could tell something was up. What does it mean?? I have a recurring dream like this a lot. Its not the same but I'll be cheating on my husband and he comes in right after its over and I lie about it! Usually I can tell that he knows whats going on. Sometimes he calls me out sometimes he doesn't. We haven't always had the best relationship but now we do. I LOVE my husband and will never cheat on him! What the heck does it all mean?????????

I think I am naive! So I have made a police report to the police about everything that has happened between a student at my school stalking me and how he has been harassing me, but I left the sexual grabbing stuff out because I was ashamed. He had threatened to ruin my life if I did not come over to his house and have sex with him. So I went to his house hoping to beg him to let me off without have sex. I was standing at the end of his bed when he leaned over and grabbed my right breast and then layed down on the bed, trying to push me down with him. He had threatened to destroy my life, and I was standing at the end of the bed crying, so he thought I had given in and decided to have sex with him. I called 911 right after that and told the police he grabbed me. They asked if I was under 18, and when I said no, they said they had no reason to come out becuase I went there willingly. So just becuase I am over 18 it is ok for him to grab me?

Back during the Cold War the USA did not invade/attack/Occupy the Communist nations in order to create peace and democracy. We just lived and let live (within reason there were alliences made to ensure the safety of all and all of it was agreed to by each partner).

So with the current policy of intervention as a road to peace as opposed to the previous policy of non-intervention.....which policy do you think we should use and why.

This is a serious question I am asking for reasonable, intelligent answers so please no "traitor-liberal" and "nazi-conservative" talk.

some people dont realize of small actions that they do in life changes their whole life completely. For example, "if i did not run into this person I would be doing this? If I did not buy this I would have....? If I did not meet this person........? Or even a huge action in your life such as, " if I did not join the Marine; I would be......? ... to (presumably) be so confident in your mandate from above to judge the state of 1 billion individual souls that you assert "Catholics aren't saved" and consider us a mission field ...

... why do you impose man-made limitations on the Holy Spirit?

What happened to the individual, personal nature of conviction and conversion -- which is His work -- that you insist must occur for one to be Christian? Regardless of your opinion of Catholic doctrine and practice, isn't it presumptuous to say that He does not work *within* Catholicism's structure just because you reject it?

Isn't it arrogant to dismiss an entire milennium and a half of His grace among us -- counting as valid only that which is evident outside the Church since the reformation?

Are you grieving the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:29-31) with your malice toward the Church -- and therefore all those in communion?
