You think you are doing great. You think your parents don't knwo your weakpoints. Actually they don't tell, assuming that you will change one day.

Parents would never tell their children openly their faults.

It is their irresponsibility makes others to suffer.

When others try to address this issue, the children treat them like enemies.

I go to a acadmically challenging boarding school that is one of the best high schools in the nation. 4 Year var football and Track.(My times are good enough to walk on) Co- head of Chess and African club. Member of Black and Hispanic student alliance. I'm a dorm Proctor and a DJ for my school radio. 50+ hours of community service at a local retirement home. Grades range between B's and B+'s but have shown great improvement since my freshman year. SAT's 690 C.R 670 MATH 610 WRITING, 6 AP classes.

really i want to know what it is? How come a baby can born with sin? How come somebody can die for our sin? Where is the logic??!!! Whereas Muslim believes every baby is sinless, every person is sinless until he or she commits a sin. Muslim believes everybody is responsible for their own sin, not others.

I noticed that my car was starting "hard" a few days ago then when I went to start it yesterday it would not start. It makes a clicking sound and will NOT start when jumped either. The battery is only 3-4 months old. I have a 99 Ford Windstar. Alternator? Starter? And what is the cost for these things?

I really want to convert my religion and become wiccan. But when I told my dad, he had a problem with it and he said "When you move out on your own, you can be whatever religion you want to be" and my dad told me that he was agnostic, but now I think he's Christian...or is there something about wiccan that may turn people off?

Can anyone help me come up with a convincing argument, that being a wiccan is not bad...even though he clearly thinks it's a horrible religion.

And can anyone direct me to some good wiccan websites?

I think Envirofundamentalists have finally stumbled upon a good definition of what is happening with our climate, by changing their nomenclature from "global warming" to "climate chaos".

Global warming implied that mankind was responsible for climate change, which is an impossibility. It is scientifically impossible to prove with accurate, reproducable results, which is a fundamental necessity of scientific theory, so it is entirely based on supposition and blind "faith" (even if there is a "consensus" of blind faith). And it goes directly against the scientific record of global warming cycles, that anyone can investigate using tree ring evidence that goes back for centuries and accurately measures global cooling and warming cycles.

Meanwhile, "climate chaos" by definition means something without organization or order, and that necessarilly means something that cannot be controlled nor influenced. In other words, they accept that man has nothing to do with it.

It is nature.

This girl and I have been dating for about a month and we have been really open with each other. We both were apprehensive about starting a relationship but after a few long and deep discussions we decided to go for it. Things are great, I really like her and she really likes me, but it seems like she is hiding me from some of her friends. I know she has told her best friend about me and her parents, but she seems to hide me from her guy friends or school partners.

Am I looking to deep into this, or should I have some concern?

I have brought it up with her and she says that she is nervous about a new relationship. We both had some bad relationships in the past.

Please only answer if you are a structural engineer, doing such work...Excuse my ignorance, but.... We are considering some (fairly minor) alterations to our house. I realize everything structural should be taken seriously, but sometimes it seems overdone. Consider adding a single window to a load bearing wall framed with 2x4's. One could argue such a wall should not exist, but it does. Anyway, if one 2x4 is cut to make the opening, and a triple 2x8 header installed, this is inarguably overkill, and would only cost about $15 for material. But, I often hear 'consult....' with such an issue. That stops me dead in my tracks because...If an engineer is going to 'certify' such a job, I can envision he may first want to ensure that the studs, foundation, and ground on either side of window can support new load. Perhaps he should also supervise the removal, temporary support, and installation. This could cost $1000's. So, what do I do for a project needing several seemingly simple changes?
