I think you have a very good chance to get into UPenn. Reason's being, Going to a top-tier boarding school is loved by Ivy League Schools, a B+ Grade Avg at these schools is very impressive, and contrary to the college professor, grades and SAT do not count for everything in our current society. The diversity that your application brings, makes you a candidate that top 20 schools, especially Ivies are looking for. Good Luck!!

I would agree that your SAT scores and GPA are not high enough to give you a solid shot. I suppose there's a possibility if your letters of recommendation are excellent, along with a great essay... and what about SAT Subject Tests? How many did you take and how did you do? And the AP tests? How did you do on those? That additional information will help us to know if high scores there may offset the lower scores you've posted here...

One of my friends just got deferred from UPenn, and another friend just got rejected by the same school. The deferred applicant had an SAT score of about 2240, and she had a 4.0 GPA. She had numerous other activities, she was part of many honor societies and she is a decent candidate.

My friend who got rejected had around a 2170 SAT score, and he remained a 4.0 GPA. He had many other extracurricular activities including summer leadership activities that were unique to him.

UPenn is a VERY competitive school, especially for business. You really need to step it up if you intend to go there. Good luck.

To be completely honest, your chances are minimal.

About 75% of the accepted applicants at Penn have higher SAT scores than you do. I'd estimate that 90% or more have ahigher GPA.

You will get into some great universities. I don't see you being accepted at anything in the top 20..
