I was just fired from OfficeMax and am getting ready to file unemployment and was wondering if anyone on here has ever filed after leaving officemax. Do they fight it? Are they on there game here or like everything else with this company do they screw it up?

Im sick and tired of NBA live series right now. I used to be a huge fan when the live 03 came out, it was wonderful. But after adding the dunk contest in 06, nothing has changed ever since. Im sick and tired of how 1 player can score all the points for a team. Example, its so easy to score 100 points with Kobe or McGrady, they are virtually unstoppable in the game. When will they ever make the live series more realistic. The game just seems to get worse and worse every year.

I bought these before listening to them (bad I know) but they were $700 so i figured i could sell them if i didnt like them (cheapest online i saw them for was 1100). It came with the 550s rather than the 350s and came with the Omni S8 sub.

About 4 years ago I moved house and brought my cat with me. However she did not settle in the new place and I used to take her back to the old area but pick her up at night (sad?). Howeve she was so unsettled I decided to leave her there altogether. Four months later on a stormy windy night she appeared back at my new place and stayed full time. Two years later a building development started up beside my place and this frightened her to the point she would stay away for a week at a time. Eventually she went away altogether and a month later I mkoved again not knowing where she was. Today I discovered she is still in the area living as an "outside" cat fed by some good neighbours. She is still very friendly. My question is how do I get her to come live in our new place? We also have adopted another cat since and have 2 dogs who are not agressive towards the existing cat. Am I mad to think we can get her back into the fold?

during my frequent travels, I notice that the toothpaste supplied in hotels are made in China with no identifiable brand name. A check with the hotel management reveal their ignorance on the matter (or are they trying to cover up?) Are there any assurance that these toothpaste do not contain the harmful DEG substance?
How to tell if a certain toothpaste contain DEG? Could the taste, color, texture or smell of the toothpaste provide any clues?

I'm receiving a $1,000 bonus but am not having taxes withheld. Since there is no deduction on a 1040 for FICA taxes how does the SS Admin collect the $1,000 X ((6.2% (SS) +1.45% (Med)) = $76.50? Is it imbedded within the tax table?

I've been in a relationship for about a month with an older man. I have had an eating disrder on and off over the past 10 years which he knows about. recently he said not to lose any more weight as he was worried it would "affect his libido"
A week ago he wanted me to participate in a sex act I wasn't comfortable with and when I said I couod not do it as he may like it but I cettainly would not, he replied that despite me not liking it he would have. In other words that relationships are about doing things to satisfy your partner even when we don't want to... Also a close relation of his died from an illness and I know that a part of him sees my eating disorder as self-inflicted
Aside from this we get on really well and have so much in common and he is actually quite sweet other than these comments. What would you do?

I'm not going to lie, I've had some shaky experiences with black women growing up and some still to this day. So maybe that's why I don't find black women very attractive. I lean towards Hispanic women as far as what I find attractive. I feel kind of guilty about it though, because I know all black women aren't as bad as the ones that gave/give me a hard time. It kind of feels like I'm being racist against my own kind. Am I wrong for feeling this way?

We Muslims believe God is Loving which is one His many Names and attributes.

But in Christianity, if God is Love, love should only reflect love..and not anger, justice, punishment etc...just like a bulb that spreads only light and nothing else.
