God is love perfect love. If you look in the Bible how many times did God give the evil and sinful a chance to repent? We cannot understand God's perfect Love. We try to put God into a box but we can't. As for the tsunami we don't know why God did that. Those countries were opened up for help and the people heard the gospel.
God bless all of y'all

Religion divides people into believers and non-believers --- and this is bad, and is the heart of our problems today --- this kind of limited thinking.
Love is love - and God has nothing to do with it. Because you cannot see God, listen to God, touch, taste or feel God, etc etc. All you ever have - are people speaking FOR God all the time, or that it is in the Bible, or Koran, etc etc. Which is not any kind of proof (because many people do not believe that just because it is written down, it is true? - It can equally be fiction, fantasy or any combination thereof).
You have to throw out religion - because it has caused wars and hatred, misunderstanding, etc etc.
Let us talk about things, we can see in front of us.
Love between neighbours and strangers, are essential --- and not only between family, relatives and friends.
Civilisation means we have to get along with everybody else - and that is what love essentially is.
You don't need to bring God into this discussion at all...

But in Christianity, if God is Love, love should only reflect love..and not anger, justice, punishment etc.
not true. God should not demand justice? Love is not some senile grandfather handing out candy.

There is love as Man knows love, and then there is the Love of God. These two are vastly different. The most essential and fundamental principle of Love as God is that anyone possessing such Love would be unable to find fault with another.
Your can measure your post as to whether it speaks of the Love of God, or of Man?
Peace

I don't see how love reflects anger and so on... but according to my quantum theory of love and god, god is the same as a connection of love, or love as an energy

That's true God is love in fact its shown in a verse in the bible about what true love is . No " greater love has any one than to lay there life down for another ".That's what Jesus did for us, and that's also what some do still for others. But they don't tie on bomb 's blow them selves up and kill innocents and then get called martyrs

Does not a father punish his child if he is going astray to lead him back into the light?
Sins are behaviours and thoughts that separate us from God.
"--your sins cut you off from God." (NLT) - Isaiah 59:2
"Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, abusers and swindlers--none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God." (NLT) 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
God hates sin and so we are also to hate sin.
"There are six things the LORD hates--no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord among brothers." (NLT) Proverbs 6:16-19
Your question confirms my belief in how distant Muslims are from knowing the character of God.

God is Love and He shows it by His Loving Grace and Mercy towards all men and not terrorism - killing and aiming the innocents children, women and others. Beside, those hypnotized zombies as their candidates as suicide bombers and their whole family, people and some nation. The Muslim way is diametrically opposite to what GOD's Love is!

LOVE is TELLING and SPEAKING the TRUTH
and if one truley LOVED someone they would be honest
and the Quran says it is love yet
by its teachings disproves its own self
For as it says a Loving God
and in the next says to destroy those who will not obey nor abide in ISLAM...and are doing it even as we speak in many countries and are persecuting Christains and any who will not accept its law of hiding and abiding and say nothing and do nothing against a man who is dead and was a child molester and was not at all like the GOD he says He was following ????????
IS THAT LOVE ???
i think not.........nor is its teachings or its philosphies
BUT IT WAS
JESUS CHRIST WHO DIED FOR YOUR SINS AND MY SINS AND MADE A WAY THAT WE THROUGH HIM COULD COME TO GOD FOR OURSELVES AND WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH, AND HE AROSE AFTER DEATH AND ASCENDED ON HIGH IN THE SIGHT OF MANY TO LIFE, TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR US , THAT WHERE HE IS WE CAN BE ALSO!!
BUT Muhommed is still in the ground........and has done nothing but speak about Allah , yet by his life denied him , by his deeds........
BUT CHRIST honored GOD by HIS DEEDS and
JESUS CHRIST IS GOD
IN THE FLESH
THE TRUE WORD
OF THE LIVING GOD
so Muslim teachings and ways are WRONG
and are not LOVE at all , but simple dictatorship
designed to compress those who are of it into believeing its foulicies, so they can Opress thier people by it !!!

God's love does not cancel out his other attributes. Since God is love, He hates sin because it is harmful to the beings that He created to love and to love Him. Since God is Holy and Righteous his love demands that He punish evil doers. But because He is gracious and merciful His love compelled Him to make a way for helpless humans to overcome their sinful natures through the power and regeneration of his Spirit and to have their sin debt paid for by God Himself.
Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
25 God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished 26 he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Romans 6:20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
