Boxer Shorts are made to be loose. I wear boxers and my friends POPs out all the time. If there is a button in the front just button it. If boners are causing your penis to stick out like a nail I would switch to briefs.

sounds like it, man! I've had the same problem with some old cheap boxers that I have sortof grew out of "just a bit". I was under the impression that it was just the way they were cheaply made, but you have a good point. These are kindof small too, so it makes sense.

Most guys that wear boxer's are about 5 to 6 inches long, they wear them so you cant tell. Guys that wear regular briefs (not low rise briefs) average around 5 to 9 inches long.
If you dont want to get a woody, either masturbate or get some briefs.

I'm a boxer wearer too, and I think anyone who wears'em knows the pain of getting hard with them on, they don't hide it too well. most of 'em button up at the front, so try that, get a bigger pair, or just don't worry too much about it, In public u'll have pants on I guess and u won't c it anyway, unless it get's hard, in that case its hard to hide.
A friend of mine, used to wake up in the morning and it would either be sticking out the button hole or from the leg(he's not that big, they just had really short legs) and it was getting really uncomfortable for him. but he's gone to briefs and sleeps commando and swears by it now, he hasn't had an embarrising hardon and nothing's obviously 'popped' out in his sleep.

Not too small, just too cheap.
Cheap boxers do that - I don't know why. Try a different brand. If the waistband feels okay, you've got the right size.

duh. of course it's gonna stick out if you get wood. there's no support in those at all; it's just cloth between your butt and your clothes. may as well go commando. try boxer briefs. oh, and about it finding it's way out........it just wants to come out and play. LOL

nah man, it always happens to me, its normal, happens all the time, my friends are always like "ahh it just came out" too, so it happens to anyone who wears them , deal with it
