Alright, I'm writing a book.
Part of the story is when my main character is going to go to jail. Whats something he could have done, that could get him put away for like, 2-3 maybe 4 years? I want it to be realistic so I want to use a crime that would actually give him that time sentence. Anyone?

Well I was just watching "TAPS" and they disprove on some level paranormal activity and/or atleast sometimes 'things don't happen' when they are investigating an area.

But as I watched them probe around the stanley place or hotel where "The Shining" was filmed, some WEIRD things really happened!! Like the shattered glass and closet door opening, ect.

Anyway back to original ques. pls.
Do you know of anyone who's visited there, or spent the night there?
Supposedly Steven King experienced some paranormal phenomena when he was there.

I saw this answer several times: There is no God because there is no indisputable proof God exists.

My question is if an atheist relies on science, and the rules of science dictate that absence of proof is not proof something doesn't exist, how can you be an atheist?

If you rely on the lack of evidence but science dictates that it takes proof in the negative to determine a theory doesn't exist, shouldn't all atheists who believe in science over religion be agnostics?

Not that you have a reason to be ashamed.

I can spend hours watching The Learning Channel. And I cry sometimes when I watch Extreme Makeover home edition---not always for them, but for myself.

My mom had a golf ball sized lump in her breast that needed to be biopsied. The entire church prayed for her, layed hands on her, even made her a prayer quilt. When they went to biopsy the lump two weeks afer the mamogram that found it, 2 docrors and 3 ulrtasound tecks couldn't find it. They did another mamogram and there was nothing there. If God didn't make it go away then what did?

Okay, how much does a girl have to do to get you to notice that she likes you?? I feel like I'm too obvious, but I can never tell. Some people say that guys don't get the picture, and you have to spell it out for them. How much attention is too much? When does it start getting weird?
ANd I'm sorry if this a confusing question. I'm a little confused too lol

This is the second time I asked this, but I wanted some new answers. Thanks.

For a while the fact that humans possess one less chromosome than all other primates would disprove the theory that all modern day primates came from one species. The discovery of chromosome #2 being a fusion of two chromosomes found in other primates shows how a single ancestor is incredibly likely. This is one of many examples of how if evolution wasn't true that the evidence of evolution was created deceptively.
If you believe in creationism, this would suggest that God purposely created us to make it appear that we had evolved. Do you think your God is intentionally deceptive?

This is a quote from an article discussing a new proposal at the current UN Climate Summit. ---

The scheme outlined in "The Right to Development in a Climate Constrained World" reiterates what climate scientists have been stating - emergency action must be taken to halt the rise in CO2 emissions.

However, the report emphasises that the global response, "must take care that it does not threaten to lock in today's vast disparities of wealth and income. Just the contrary: It must drive down emissions globally, even while the lives of the poor are improving and ambitious development goals are being met and surpassed.

"To this end, it must slash the emissions of the already wealthy and, at the same time, prevent the unbounded emissions growth of those rising out of poverty. And it must do so without stifling their development aspirations."

---

Sounds like a socialist conspiracy to me. I hope America doesn't agree to this.
