The likelihood is, if they tied, she will be pregnant.

Zygotes implant about 7 days after conception.. so, um... depends on how you look at it.

9 weeks from when they were seen "tied". You should really get her fixed if you are not sure about things like that. Best thing to do is get her spayed after the puppies are not nursing anymore so this doesn't happen again. Trust me it is a lot of work dealing with a litter of puppies. Please do the right thing and get her fixed. If you do it will lessen her chances of developing certain kinds of cancer. She will thank you for it in the long run and she will be able to enjoy life a little longer.

well, no, dogs don't always get pregnant every time they mate. just like people. i would think by now though you should know if she is pregnant. she should be huge and her boobies should be noticably bigger. they should look sorta like small people boobies. if she was mated on Oct 13th the pups would be due sometime around Dec 15th. they are pregnant for about 9 weeks give or take a week. you should see signs of her nesting now. she will look for a place to have the babies. if she doesn't look pregnant and is not nesting then she probably didn't get pregnant.

It's called "tied", not stuck. Sigh, have you done any research before you breed your dogs? When they are tied, it doesn't mean that the female is pregnant right away. It means that highly likely her eggs will be fertilized. Dogs gestation period is usually around 62 days. So, you better do more research about whelping since you bred them on October 13.

Her developing her TEATS means that she will give birth soon. Also, if they were tied on October 13, that means she should be giving birth in the next few days. I hope to god you were feeding her properly and have SOME idea of what you are doing when she whelps.

I think you need to call a vet for advice, asap.

Looks like you have a Christmas present coming> Be sure to make her a quiet dark nest somewhere and keep all the company away from her and the pups. good luck

If they are tied, yes the female gets pregnant. Unless the male is shooting blanks, of course. 63 days later....puppies.

Get them spayed so you can avoid this problem in the future.

if she got pregnant during the "lock up", she'd be having them about now. just because they get locked up means the boy doggie finished, not an automatic pregnancy

Please have your female and your male Neutered - NOW.

If you're not a breeder, we don't need to bring any more puppies into this world. Have her spayed now.
