He was, is and probably always be a control freak. It pisses him off that you are living your life without his control. Do not jump on the jealous bandwagon. Think about what problems you had when you were married to him, I bet you will conclude that he was indeed controlling. The biggest fear or hatred that a control freak has is losing control.

Not jealous, not caring, not love - - - control...

I say forge ahead..

Well think about it. In Highschool you date a guy and then you break-up (and you break up because its bad and hes a creep) However, there is still something that bugs you when you see him with another girl.

It doesnt mean you want him back but its just cause 'you' dated him and 'he' bounced back into another relationship very easily.

Dont worry. If your getting the divorce for all the right reasons dont look back and ponder about him. Times a theif and you cant spend time worrying about him and his emotional issues.

Maybe soon to be ex is finally realizing what he has lost..Could be he is just afraid the children will love this new man in your life and want to live with you...Think about all the heartache he has caused you in the past..Now that you have a little happiness,he isn't jealous of the new man ,he's jealous of the happiness you have that he doesn't have in his life!!!
Go with your instincts and live your own life.He chose his path and you have to choose yours.Hope it is a smooth and happy one..

Sounds like the "I don't want you, but I don't want anyone else to have you either." If he has a gf, then I see no reason why you can't have a boyfriend. He doesnt have that control over you anymore and he's trying to find a way for him to. Also, he wants you to come back to when things with his gf and him don't work out.

He is probably not jeolous. Thats what a lot of people think after they break up with a person. Hes only jeolous if he puts your stuff down or is constantly mad at you.

I wouldn't worry about it at all. If he has a girlfriend and you all are getting divorced then he's just being immature... (I don't want you but I don't want anyone else to have you...)

double standards, its fine for him to be involved
with a woman, but not for you to be involved with a man.
does that make any sense?

You shouldn't think about it, it's a waist of your time
