I am a psych major. I originally chose this major b/c I wanted to go into clinical psych. I've been in therapy myself now for a few yrs and have had one negative experience after the other with cold/ mean/ uncaring/ arrogant therapists who have destroyed my life/ self esteem. I've become disenchanted with therapy and am considering changing my psych focus. I think I'd rather do research on cognition and perception rather than provide therapy services now. I'm still an undergrad. Is it ok to change my focus area in psych? Am I disengaging from the therapy end of the field for the right reason?

ok so i totally i thin blew it wit this grl, we arent going out so technically it wasnt her fault, im not saying it is, im not even blaming her, now everytime i see her i get so depressd, sad, and even when i dont i cuz im always thinking about her. i even cryed one time i heard a horrible story about her, i never felt this way about ne1, and the worst thing is she wont tell me how she feels. i want a straight up answer like yes or no, it would make my day to just no where i stand. but everytime i bring it up i cry :(. that is one reason im depressed. but now im trying to just ignore her so i can forget about her and stop liking her, but she keeps talking to me and im trying to be mean, not like yell and stuff, but im trying to make her do it on her own. but i end up helping her neways. so today she asked if i was going to her bball game and i said idk prolly not, she started spasing out like a wtf kind of attitude,sorta sad. is she playing wit me, i rely cant stand the pain, but with

there is this girl at scool who i really like. she has a bf, but she really loves to flirt with me. a few days ago we had been sitting next to each other in class, flirting, and i grabbed her boob. she seemed surprized but not mad. i think she might have even liked it. i really want to put my hands all over her. should i feel her up more, like her butt, and some more boob, or just stick with that?

My credit is not that great so I need my husband to cosign for me to get a car. If we make the payments on time each month, will my credit go up too or just his?

I have a bank account and the branch is quite far off from where I live because I have moved. I am not happy with their services, so I sent them an email request to close the account. When there was no response I called the customer service, but they said they wouldn't take closure requests on phone. So I sent them a signed letter. It is more than 2 months now, they are sending me monthly statements and new product features and what-not, actually behaving as if I have not sent the closure request and they are also charging maintenance fees every month. The branch is too far from where I live, so I cannot actually go in person and make a request. What shall I do?

i have being going out with this guy just under 6months and we hardly ever go out eg. Cinema,Theatre,Bar etc if anything he would take me out once a month and even then it feels like ive falsed him to take me out. When i ask the reason he says lack of funds or just moans that if i want to go out i should take him out. we chill out at each other houses but he often jumps at a chance to go out with his friends to a club/bar and never once invited me along only in the 1st month of going out. When i go out with my girlfriends he hates if i even mention i guys name but he always talks about the way girls dance at the clubs he goes to and when i point it out he just laughs and says sorry intil the next time he says it again. Whats going on why don't he take me out and what should i do? Just the otherday a guy asked for number to take me out on a date which of course i turned down but it just made me feel less special to my boyfriend who tells me everyday that he loves me. Whats going on?

I'm in college and I struggled to get a C+ in chem 1. I thought I had a pretty good grasp of it but I just can't understand electron shells and all that stuff. As far as we went was 3d electron diagrams, tetrahedrals, trigonal bipyramidal etc.

Could I handle chemistry 2? I registrered for it next sem. but I don't know anymore, does it get much more complicated?

Okay this friday i ahve a super lunch which is a 45 min lunch i was wondering how long wolud it take to walk 2 miles, in the beging of the walk it is down hill and the hill is steep then flat ground then the walk back is flat to steep up hill i think im a faster walker so yea. So do u think i can make it back in 45 min and an extra 5 for a passing time to get to class and not be 5 min late???

This girl who I work with as a partner in class, always saying that I'm crazy whenever I do mistake or say something.

If she thinks I'm crazy why is she talking to me and telling me her personal problems with her boyfriend and all that? if she thinks I'm crazy why she even sitting next to me? Does she really think I'm crazy? Should I ask her why she says that I'm crazy? because for 7 years, people keep saying that I'm crazy and at first it was cool and fun name but now it's really annoying me because I really think I'm loosing it, I really do believe that I'm half crazy.

This isn't something new, people from middle school, high school and now college are saying that I'm crazy. Some guy in high school even once asked me if I was on crack. I swear I don't smoke or drink

Then we decided to meet up.
And then after we went back home from our meeting... we spoke on msn and he said he only likes me as a friend =(
