Yes. That moderator was an idiot and she was trying to trap the debaters into making a half statement so their position would be distorted.
And I don't even support Fred Thompson-m but he was right on here.

The liberal moderators try to trap the Republican candidates into giving simple answers to complex questions. I think his response was excellent. And I'm not even a big fan of his.
Vote for Rudy!

I thought thompson had good answers throughout the whole debate, but he lacks passion. He looked like he was asleep the whole time. I like thompson's views, but he comes off as old and tired.

Poor tired old Fred couldn't hit a pumpkin out of a park if you gave him a 2' wide bat. I'm not sure why refusing to cooperate in a orderly debate makes him a winner, or why a reporter who didn't ask softball questions is a liberal.

I think he showed he was afraid to take a stand.
Edit: It was a simple yes or no question. If Fred really doesn't believe in global warming why won't he say so?
Because he's afraid to say he believes because he'll alienate Republicans who get their info only from Fox.
And he's afraid to say he doesn't believe because he'll look stupid.
Either way, he's afraid to take a stand.
Hit it out of the park? He wouldn't even go up to bat.

It just shows he's a grumpy old man. He also said that the biggest problem in the country was the NEA (National Education Association). He hates them because this is the main teacher's union and he hates all unions, especially those that have so many black members. "No Child Left Behind" principal target is black public school teachers. That's the Republicans for you.

He's always been called lazy, but this time he was too LAZY to even raise his hand!
However, if a Republican (other than Ron Paul) had to be elected I'd prefer someone was too lazy to do things, since they'd probably just screw things up more than they already are.
