Regarding politics, Ive long been of the mindset that 'yeah it sucks, but the system has been set up so far beyond the peoples reach that we are now just long for the ride and can truly do nothing but take it and try to enjoy our own private lives'. Thinking as such, Ive never voted in an election.
However, the current buzz about Ron Paul got me interested and after listening to him speak in over 20 hours of videos and researching his voting record, I firmly believe that change is possible and Dr. Paul is our last hope.
Yet because the media actively diverts attention away from him, I feel that in order to make his candidacy possible it's going to require all the people like me sitting at our computers who would normally sit back and watch it all happen in disgust to GET UP AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. A large % of America has never heard of him, but with his giant grassroots support, that can change. Dont just assume others will do it for you. Take a stand, and fight any way you can
