I'm in an intro computer science class in school and I'm only one of two girls in the class and I hate it. The teacher thinks I'm stupid, like on the first day he told every one to log in and he comes up to me and asks me if I know how to log in! And every time the class is working on something he has to ask me if I understand even though I have a Ain the class. Why is he such a jerk?

Alright my cousin is only 16. She recently had a beautiful baby boy in July. She got pregnant when she was 14 yrs old by a man who is now 38. (SERIOUSLY) All my cousin does is smoke trees, drink, hang out and have sex all the time w/ the 38 yr old in my Grandmothers house. This man climbs up a ladder in the back of the house to get into my cousins room. Neither my cousin nor her baby daddy take care of their child my grandmother who is 74 w/diabetes and kidney failure does. Whenever my cousin has the baby (on days my grandmother does to dialysis 3 days out of the week) he has bruises and cuts like shes abusing him. What can I do (not being her legal guardian)about this whole situation?

P.S My cousins mother and father aren't in her life.

Gods word the Bible says:

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

No matter who we are, we are all sinful, even Chrisitans, none of us are perfect. Nothing we could ever do could earn us right standing with God.

John 3: 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

God does not want to condemn or judge you, he wants to be your friend, he wants you to know the immense love he has for you. So since we could not pay the price for our wrongdoing, he paid it for us by sacrificing his own son.

Luke 5:32
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

1 Timothy 1:16
But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on

Are Americans overtaxed? Figure it out, how many hours a day do you work just to pay taxes? Add in all other non-income taxes. Now how many hours a day do Americans work just to pay taxes? How much is too much? What can be done? Are you doing it?

"I believe that people have a right to decide their own destiny; people own themselves. I also believe that, in a democracy, government exists because (and only as long as) individual citizens give it a "temporary license to exist" - in exchange for a promise that it will behave itself. In a democracy you own the government - it doesn't own you. Along with this comes a responsibility to ensure that individual actions, in the pursuit of a personal destiny, do not threaten the well-being of others while the "pursuit" is in progress." [Frank Zappa]

I regularly ordered Chicken Almond Ding from my favorite Chinese restaurant, but had no idea exactly what was in it. So one day I decided to ask the chef what it was.

"Ah yes," he told me, "The chicken is bird meat, raised on a farm and free range, all natural, very high in protein and quite tasty when cooked."

"Yes, yes, I get that." I said. "I mean, what are the other ingredients?"

"Ah yes," he said, "The almond is a nut, very nutritious, also high in protein, made by Blue Diamond company and slivered to decorate and flavor the chicken."

"Of course, of course I know what an almond is" I said impatiently. "But what in the world does the "ding" mean?"

"Ah, ding?" He answered. "That's the sound the dish makes when it's ready to come out of the microwave."

Is it a lifestyle choice or is unemployment at an all time high? It bugs me that they cannot get a job and try to get into the wallets of people who earn their living. Next time someone asks if i have any spare change i might ask them to sign a contract. Who thinks that would be an effective way to detter these begars?

I don't understand the double standard. Other races can have their own holidays, clubs, television channels and pretty much anything else you can think of. If a white person were to start a club for their culture it would be a racist thing to do. Other races can use the term "white boy" and it's no big deal. If a white person comments on another person's race it's a racist remark. Why should I feel ashamed to be proud of my culture?

Oh, and I'm not trying to press any buttons here. I love other cultures and I love the fact that there is so much diversity in the world. I'm just wondering why there is such a double standard.
