There's a fundamental idea here that i'm missing. And I kinda wanted to some help if possible.
I watch a really good movie and i'm done with it. Maybe i can watch it again weeks/months/years later. But for the most part i'm done with it. It was good, i have a good memory of it but that's it.
My girlfriend seems to CLING to the past. Thing she liked when she was like 5 she's still into. And as far as movies, if it's a movie she likes she'll watch it 34781023 times. The same for music cd's. But they're all old and the novelty has worn out, because if she ever catches on to a movie or piece of music that came out this century, it's far too late, simply because she was too busy repeat experiencing all the other old stuff.
I don't really get it, but I don't just wanna chalk this up to incompatibility. It does cause problems though. And it's sorta annoying, i'm sure you can guess why.
