I have a guy friend. We have been emailing each other for the past 4 months. My husband used to be abusive and never really acknowledged me before he found out about my friend. My question is should it mean anything now that he changed because of that or do you think that he will change into his old ways after awhile. My husband treats me like a queen now but why did it take for me to find a friend for him to do that?

I have a son who is almost 3. Anytime someone around us has said this, I've told my son, "that's not very nice to call someone that" (and he wouldn't).
Then again, I noticed on Merry Christmas Charlie Brown they say it several times and other parents say it around their young children.

What are your thoughts?

Hate the thought of feeling sorry for myself & find it near impossible to tell others how I feel so I'm going to write on here.I'm 24 FM, used to model, used to be addicted to cocaine, used to have an eating disorder & have been in two bad relationships. I am now with a guy I used to think loved me for me & thought he & I would make an excellent team but now I just feel hurt all the time & cry as I write this!I don't like myself much mainly for all the wrong decisions I've made in the past. My bf often reminds me of these things when we argue & I probably deserve it but I would love to beable to love myself again.I hate feeling so bad, I feel bad for all the people I've hurt & always feel v bad when my bf ~& I argue for hurting him.He makes me feel (not on purpose) so insecue by saying about other girls being hot, telling me I've made plenty of mistakes and asking me to kiss his gf when he's drunk.He's real popular & I think maybe I should just try get along & bow down.

My mother ( 59 yrs) has been struggling with this problem for almost years now, her ear plugs up, she gets sever vertigo, then starts throwing up,, when it happens it looks liek she is having a stroke, her arm even lifts up and curls,, it happens with a matter of minutes, the doctor said they were not strokes and she has been tested for Ménière’s, which they say she doesnt have, she takes decongestants and meclazine every day in hopes that she wont get another attack, Does anyone know what might be causing this? she says her ear and side of her face somteitmes gets numb when it happens too.

Why do they allow using calculators for math problems in school tests or homework or class work? Should not teachers make them solve problems by teaching and giving more practice of simple maths problems without use of calculator when children are 9 years old? What age do you think them to allow to use calculator?

My employment history is four estate agents (redundancy each time) an investment company (which folded) and a telecommunications company which i left after a year due to my job not going anywhere. All this in 4 years.

I'm desperately looking for a new position. Currently working at NHS Direct but i literally can't work with my boss any longer. She used to be a PA in London and she's still a PA but not in London. She needs to realise things are very different in the suburbs!!

Should I continue with this job for a while longer or look for a different job in the same organisation?

It's been 3 month's since the break up. Right now she's dating someone...should I always leave her now partner out of our conversations? Sometimes my curiousity gets the best of me and I get into asking about the person she's dating. And I always end up feeling angry and hurt. So I know it's a bad idea. can you damage enything else when using a damaged clutch for a long time? (the clutch is slipping and somtimes just reving, no power then it will kik in and and accelarate, then just rev for a couple of seconds then go again,) will it damage other parts if it brakes compleatly, or even just using it like this? thanx
