1) The Platypus has features of a bird(duck-like bill), a mammal(fur and beaver-like tail), a reptile(lays eggs and lives in water &land), an amphibian(webbed feet), and a fish(um, able to swim?). Of all earthly beings, surely the platypus is the most likely to be god.
2) The platypus has a bill that can detect electrical energy in nerve impulses AND has venom from a spur on its hind legs.
3) The platypus is one of the most intelligent beings on Earth. The fact that it evolved into how it is now is extraordinary. Platypi fossils have also been found, proving that it existed millions of years ago, its features brilliantly adapted to survive.

Although unlikely(very) that God exists, assuming that he/she/it did, wouldn't it be relatively logical and reasonable for me to speculate that God is a platypus?
No joking, think about it.

No scientific study has been carried out to show or determine the true primary factor which affects human growth. 100 years ago the average height in the UK amongst both sexes was 2 inches shorter than currently.

Could the statement 'genetics is the primary factor, height is unavoidably determined and due to fate, with the exception of 1 or 2 inches with environmental factors, always used to dismiss the laziness in the scientific community to find and determine what really stimulates the pituritary gland throughout human life, and lengthy bone development be wrong. Could this be an excuse, a genetic excuse?

I believe that if height is already determined before birth, baseball pitchers shouldn't have 1 arm longer than the other. The scientific community realistically know very little about human height, and doctors tend to dismiss shorter people as victims of their genetics, when no real plausible evidence has been gathered or research. Historical statistics show the opposite.

to ask.

If you child told you they no longer wanted to attend church, pray, or otherwise participate in the religion you are raising them in, what would you do ?

Does it depend on the age of the child ?
What if they wanted to join a completely different religion ? Would it depend on the religion ?
What if they told you they were completely atheist ? Would that be worse than joining a completely different religion.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and opinions.

I have shared my opinions on old men hitting on younger women. This man was different, very well off, asked me out for a coffee and he was really quite interesting and had a sense of humor. I'd rather he be my age but he's not ... we gave eachother our emails and he's sent me an email everyday and even sent flowers and chocolate to my office (receptionist) What to do?

Right now i just got home from a night out and im still drunk. I just ate a bit of pizza that i re-heated and had a cup of tea, and i really enjoyed it. I feel really happy right now. I know its only because i have alcohol in my system, but i was wondering if its possible to appreciate something a simple as this when im sober. Maybe a way i can look at things, change my mindset etc?
