Well when I was younger, I was sort of picky, she had to be very attractive. Now I just check for a pulse.
Seriously now. I desire a woman who believes in Jesus, has a warm, caring heart, also loves children and dogs. Plus she does not smoke or abuse alcohol. A sense of humor is a must as well. Mutual respect. Honesty and faithfulness are so very important as well. Someone I can talk to about anything at all and when we do talk, the time flies by as if nothing.

Someone who I can stand to look at every day. . .lol. Just kidding.
But seriously, my husband is my opposite. His strengths are my weaknesses, and vice versa. We are a team, we're best friends, we're confidants, and we're lovers. We have our moments where we can't stand to look at one another, but we resolve our issues calmly and with much understanding of the other's point of view.
**How Gene ever got a 'top contributor' badge in this category with answers like that is beyond me. Clearly he hasn't met the right woman yet. No man ever got me into bed without a ring on my finger, and I'm still married to him 4 years later.**

I don't look. The women answering this will give you all sorts of lies like -- respect, companionship, love, understanding.
Dang lies. They want money, danger, muscles, prestige.
I look for one night stands. Women are a lot more easy to get into bed than to have an honest relationship with.

someone who is caring and honest and likes the same things i do. they have to have the same perspective on life and want to grow in all aspects with me as a couple. but they also have to value independence
