Has God predetermined which people will obey Him? Has He decided in advance who will be righteous--who will be christians & ultimately be saved? If this is true, could He also have determined who will be lost? Are all people in the catagory of either "lost" or "saved"? What does the Bible have to say about all this? I know we should repent of our sins and be saved. But, where does the above fit in?

How long did it take you to get pregnant?

we have been trying for 8 months now... I had my hubby checked (he seems to be fine) havent checked myself out because i never thought i could have a problem, my periods are regular, and all seems to be ok, but it is taking so long to conceive that it makes me angry and sad... I have decided to go see a specialist after the holidays... but just wanted to know has someone conceived in such a long time as it takes me without any doc help? just want to hear other people's stories. Considering going to Baptist Church. What should we expect??

The flyer seems to imply that the Sunday service is up to 9 hours, and there is a "night-meeting" on Wednesdays.

Is this mandatory in most Baptist Churches? Can we omit what we have to to deal with our schedules? If we do, will we be bombarded by others in the church to "Stay on track"?

My wife and I are a little hesitant about going at this point...

Any suggestions on poems about young soldiers regarding what they can and cannot do because of their age?

I read a poem on Veterans day about young soldiers and how they weren't "dry behind the ears," how they were too young to drink a beer, and just barely out of high school, but were going off to war. I have no idea who the author of the poem was. I need to use a poem for a paper about young soldiers, and I can't seem to find the poem anywhere. If you have any idea what this poem may be, or have any other ideas for me, your help would be appreciated!

Macy's won't exchange or return the mattress. How to fight them?

We have purchased a pillow top mattress from Macy's in July and paid $2000.00 for it. When buying it, I have asked the sales accosiate about the humps. He asured us that mattress has 10 years warranty and we won't have any problems with the hums. Unfortunately, after 2 months of use, a huge hump created right in the middle (please note, me and my husband are not overweight). So, Macy's sent an inspector to our house, he took a picture and soon we have received a letter from Macy's saying that this hump is normal and our mattress is not eligibal for an exchange or return and they advised us to take a better care of our mattress....
We would like to fight them and return the mattress but do not know what steps to take. Any advise would be appreciated.

If I asked a question on here about whether you choose your music based on the looks of the artist, everyone would say no, however, everytime i go to answer a question about Michael Jackson versus any other music artist, there are always a bunch of people who answer picking the other artist, and say something about Michael Jackson's appearance?
