We have purchased a pillow top mattress from Macy's in July and paid $2000.00 for it. When buying it, I have asked the sales accosiate about the humps. He asured us that mattress has 10 years warranty and we won't have any problems with the hums. Unfortunately, after 2 months of use, a huge hump created right in the middle (please note, me and my husband are not overweight). So, Macy's sent an inspector to our house, he took a picture and soon we have received a letter from Macy's saying that this hump is normal and our mattress is not eligibal for an exchange or return and they advised us to take a better care of our mattress....
We would like to fight them and return the mattress but do not know what steps to take. Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Document everything.. Who you bought the mattress from, when you bought the mattress/paid etc.. Take picture's of the mattress with description of the problem.... Always.. speak with a manager and get his/her name/title etc...

Send a letter- detailed to Macy's corporate.. Explain situation, provide receipts (copies) etc.. Also, look into your manufactor warranty and what it covers... Call the BBB and make a formal complaint against MACY's... You should get a new mattress.. good luck

Contact the mattress manufacturer, take photos of the hump with a ruler or a level to show how big the hump is, Do not take no for an answer, of course they don't want to take it back and refund you. BTW I can't imagine a mattress worth $2000. you will have to be persistent, take your photo to another retailer of mattresses and see what they say about the condition of the mattress. I don't know what state you live in but here you can take any conflict worth up to $2500 to small claims court and you dont need a lawyer. It can be time consuming but may be worth it.

You need to call the future and bedding customer service line and speak to a supervisor. They will likely exchange it with little trouble.
