Instead of doing something ourselves- taking responsibility for our own lives.
We pray - get no results - and can blame someone else for our own failure.
It's easier to live that way.

Anybody can argue that it DOES yield results.

If I pray for heads every time I flip a coin, God answers that prayer and grants the heads at least half the time, if I flip enough.

That's the beauty of the typical Christian prayer. If it happens to turn out favorably, praise the Lord. If not, it must not have been according to his will. Convenient.

Nonetheless, prayer seems to have irrefutable positive effects for those who really do believe in it. Prayers aren't always answered. Arguably, they're never actually "answered," but the act itself (as well as believing in it) seems to help people remain optimistic, which improves mental and even physical health. It's been well documented in health psychology.

Maybe when you pray you see no results, but I do.
I pray specific prayers and I see specific results!
Maybe because I know who it is I'm speaking to, and you don't.

All prayers get a result. Just not the result we want necessarily.

HOWDY!!! Darth,

I am living proof that God does answer prayers. I have come so close to death so many times and God has always been there for me and God is with me now. I don't really live like I should but God Loves All of Us; Regardless of what we do. He is always there and it just takes Faith in him and at least try to stay close to God.

STAY SAFE!!!

God answers all pray if we pray according to His will. It has always worked for me and He has always answered my prayer, maybe not when I thought He should have, but He has answered.
