I'm a senior this year and my two main collegeS are Cal State & Hofstra. I wanna major in communications, how can I crossover after that into broadcasting and public relations for the NBA.

I just got my first webkinz today..and I am trying to get on and adopt my raindeer. But when I registered as a new member it told me afterwards that I had not adopted my pet...that I would have to adopt it after they were done with maintnance. Well that was three hours or so ago...am I doing something wrong??

i use to have a very close friend names jessica anyway when i moved away from the small town she lived she becfame very funny with me...when we became friends she had just broken up with her long term boyfriend..I did really enjoy her company and find her very funny but a few home truths came out like she has to put other people down to make herself feel better..she spreads rumours about people behing their backs which are so far from the truth it is untrue like she told an ex i was sleeping with her ex just becasue i saw him out why i have no idea!!! why do you think she is doing this???

i see all these famous women having babies and wearing bikinis shortly after and i want to know WHERE ARE THEIR STRETCH MARKS? seriously, a lot of moms i know have them, so you would think these tiny tight celebs would get them too? do you think they have them and cover them up or have gotten them removed somehow. i think this makes normal women who have them feel ugly, what are your thoughts???

To one with faith, no explanation is necessary.
To on without faith, no explanation is possible.

Have you ever of the saying "attraction, rather than promotion"?
This quote made me think of that saying.
Reason being, do you notice how you lose a person's attention or even run the risk of annoying them, when you try to promote your faith?
I understand completely why us as Believers want to spread the "Good News"
But doing that does it ever concern you that sometimes your doing more harm than good?
That sometimes we get in the way of allowing God to do only what God can do?

Please believe, I am NOT trying to cause a stir.
For I am so grateful for the people in my life who inspire me to change, by "testifying" about their journey(s).

How absolutely disgusting it is to have charged a school teacher with insulting religion and inciting racial hatred. The teddy bear was named Mohammed by the school children in actual truth. Given that the name Mohammed pre-dates the birth of the prophet Mohammed, how can this possibly be blasphemous?

I see some people are serving Christmas pudding this Christmas. I have heard of plum pudding but never Christmas pudding. I read it originated in England and it is a British tradition. How is this pudding made and do people really let it hang for weeks? That is interesting. How good is it and is there a place in the states I could sample some before the holidays are over?

George went on a vacation to the Middle East with most of his family
including his mother-in-law.

During their vacation and while they were visiting Jerusalem.George's
mother-in-law died.

With the death certificate in hand, George went to the American
Consulate Office to make arrangements to send the body back to the
States for proper burial.

The Consul, after hearing of the death of the mother-in-law told
George that the sending of a body back to the States for burial is very,
very expensive. It could cost as much as $5,000.00.

The Consul continues, in most cases the person responsible for the
remains normally decides to bury the body here. This would only cost
$150.00.

George thinks for some time and answers, "I don't care how much it
will cost to send the body back; that's what I want to do,"
The Consul, after hearing this, says "You must have loved your
mother-in-law very much considering the difference in price."

"No, it's not that," says George. "You see, I know of a case many
years ago of a person that was buried here in Jerusalem. On the third
day he arose from the dead! I just can't take that chance."

Been doing some searching because I just don't understand WHY everyone keeps saying to make a video and post it on youtube. I can see some of the keywords people use to find my site and when I put them into google, I come up with links to blogs, myspace, wordpress, individual websites and SOME youtube videos. But not all videos.

So my question is, other than giving others the option to SEE and HEAR you, why is video marketing the marketing of choice these days?

Or is it just another option?

My friend doesn't drink every day but every time that he does drink, he can't stop and ends up extremely drunk. He drinks every weekend but not during the week (usually). When I bring it up he gets angry and defensive and says that he is not an alcoholic because he doesn't drink every day. But the last time we were out with friends, he wound up at the bar taking shots by himself. How do I get him to realize that if this isn't a problem now, it will lead to one soon.

That just because im going to be a young mother and i have never been through labor that i dont know what i want... Like when people ask questions about my pregnancy and baby and this and that i am very open on how i want a water birth and no drugs and i plan on breastfeeding. Everyone is like o well hunny you will change your mind and be begging for that epidural.. Like im an idiot or something.. I dont get why people can be so rude, why is it everyone ALWAYS has something to say. Like one friend of my mother in laws said o just wait once you start breastfeeding your boobs are going to start to hurt and your going to switch to formula in a heart beat! Like breastfeeding is about me?? I mean c'mon! Who cares if it hurts, their are ways around it if thats what i choose for my daughter... I mean..Has anyone else experienced these hypocritical people or do they just like to prey on me?? The first time mom who got married at 17 and pregnant at 19!
