Gas prices have more than doubled since George Bush took office -- it's an outrage.

Thanks to the Republican road blocks in Congress, gas prices continued to skyrocket just in time for the holiday travel rush -- ensuring that millions of dollars flowed into the pockets of their Big Oil friends and out of the pockets of America's hardworking families.

Remember the Bush Administration's secret meetings with their Big Oil friends to develop our nation's energy policy? We need to make sure the Halliburton presidency is in the past -- but with more than 60 Democrats sitting in seats that Bush carried in 2004, this November, Republicans will try to turn back the clock.

But 49% of the SANE Americans who didn't vote for good ol' Bushy boy TWICE and I aren't going to let that happen, are we? Hopefully ATLEAST 2 percent of the ignorants will have been converted by then, like I said, hopefully.

We are going to my mothers parents for Christmas and honestly all the kids are scared to misbehave there(which is good) b/c Granddad has a big bark(no real bite). They follow all the house rules best as little kids can in an adult house. My question is what do your grands or great grands do most that annoys you?

My periods due in 3 days...
For the past 3 days(including today), I have been gettin cramps, but every now and then I get this very bad feeling, the best way I can describe it as is, its like someones hand wraps around my uterus and sqeezes the sh*t out of it, I literally have to stop walking, if I'm walking at the time, and a few times even bend over, and then it goes away(it lasts about a good 10 seconds), this has been happening for the past 3 days, along with normal cramping, and I notice after I eat it starts getting stronger, but it's in my uterus area not my intestines, but also I'm having pulling like pains in both my ovary areas, yes I'm sexually active(with one gu, for 3 yrs)& yes I'm disease FREE, so thats just to clue u in. Why do u think I'm having these excrutiating pains, even though it lasts for a few seconds?

Some folks just moved a HUGE double wide in across the street from my place. They were out there when the first section was brought in. It almost turned over as they were trying to get it over the curb. This lady was praying every foot of the way, asking Jesus not to let her new mod. home get destroyed. My question is: since the deity she believes in doesn't take the time to heal people dying from diseases, or give amputee's their limbs back, why in the world would she think that her cheap trailor would be worthy of divine intervention? Yes, she was serious!

There was a well known ancient philosopher who said something along the lines of the world being made up of opposites, and in order to experience good you must also experience bad, like being rich and poor.
Does anyone know which philosopher believed that?

I am a teacher, and my husband has been spying on me for a couple of months now. I hear from students and other teachers that he parks in various locations and stares at the school. After dismissal, I used to stay to clean up my classroom, grade papers, etc. Now he only wants me to stay a half hour at the most, and apparently he watches during that time. I am so angry because he has no reason not to trust me. I never spy on him, go through his wallet, look at his cell phone or anything. He won't allow me to have a password on my phone because he says he has the right to check messages and calls at any time. I do not do anything wrong for him to be acting this way. I have asked him to stop, but he says that means I am doing something I don't want him to see. It's not that, just the fact that I feel like I am being stalked by my own husband. Has anyone had a spouse like this? What should I do?

wake up to see what else might be coming around the bend in the horizon? Think how fast life travels. TV was new when I was a kid. The microwave was new when I was in college. When I first started teaching the VHS was the latest in technology, and then the Apple 11E computer came along. Do you ever just wonder what you might see if you live long enough?

This plant / weed has a red/pink type penis shaft and grows to about 8 cm. Just underneath the surface there is a white mushroom type seed which the plant/weed grows from. The plant/weed only seems to live for 3-10 days then dies and stinks. It seems to attrack the flies. I remove these plants but more seem to turn up.
