I don't believe so, though I know many people who do. This is one of the discussion I have with some of my Christian friends and at least they are honest with their answers... it's a simple "I don't know, but I hope God interferes" (with people who are dying, etc... NOT trailers *sigh*) but then, my friends normally don't pray for material things. They usually pray for healing and that I become Christian lol I think it's weird that people pray for such things. I mean, I would hope my house wouldn't roll over... if it were mine... but I wouldn't pray to my Gods to stop it if it was going over. I would probably be saying things like "Ah ****! Figures! Just my luck!"

I don't know if God was or did intervene on her behalf while moving her home but I can tell you that if you trust in God and Jesus Christ is your Saviour then yes he is that involved in your life. God is in every breath we take. God created air remember. Born again Christians know that Jesus is with them every step they take. As a Born Again Christian myself I know Jesus is watching over my for good, He died on that cross for and you, to take away our sins, if He is willing to give his life for you then doesn't it seem possible He is in every move you make. Our Hearts don't beat without God. Whats amazing is how you noticed this, Jesus is telling you something, He wants to be involved in your life, in everything you do, have you ever given him a chance, Do you attend Church? Do you ever Pray? Maybe this lady is closer to the Lord than you think. As far as being healed and all that there are miracles happening everyday, people are being healed of diseases everyday. I know that much from just going to my own church. From your question I just get the feeling that Jesus was talking to you more than anyone else there. Take some time and read the Bible. Go to church this Sunday, and just see what God can do, You might be suprised at God is doing!!!

Rent "Bruce Almighty." You honestly think you know better than God. Why would God intervene on her behalf and not an amputee etc.? I'm sure you can think of reasons why He wouldn't cure a disease, that would be "acceptable" in your eyes (the diseased is a pedophile for example) , but thank God it's not up to us.
P.S. Was the trailer destroyed?

Depends on what you mean by interfere. As a Christian I believe that the upcoming holiday season is actually about God interfering in human affairs in a big way.
What we believe about God may say more about us than it does about God. That woman's prayers certainly expressed her thoughts and feelings about God, and her ideas about prayer. She probably saw her cheap trailer was her home and human beings usually have strong emotions invested in their homes and their security as annoying as that trailer might be to others.
I believe most believing people want to think that God cares about things that are important to us.
Christians believe in what Jesus said about God even counting the hairs on our heads to express the idea that God really loves us in a very personal way.
And you don't know she doesn't pray for the healing of the world or even for your well being either.

I have never seen God as a fix all/cosmic cash machine. I feel I am responsible for most of the things in my life. I really don't think God cares about minor things. I used to know of a football coach that would always sign his letters "Pray for the Gorillas". (name of the team) I thought that was completely asinine. I rather doubt God would care about football. It's just a game.

As a believer I once held these silly notions. I would pray about EVERYTHING... More has gotten done since gettin off my knees and getting my A*ss in gear. I have accomplished so many things in the past 2 years it is not even funny.

You have asked a rhetorical question by having answered your own question with the example given.Either that or you are not aware of the logical conclusion that must come from your baited question.
So the correct answer must be yes even when the sought answer is no.

The healing is there for you. You must have faith to receive it. Yes, Christ is real and God is real. It is what you believe in your heart that either gets your prayers answered or hinders them from reaching the ears of God. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him. It takes faith and perseverance to hear from God. If i were a betting person, i would wager that the trailor house she was praying for was just fine...because God does answer the prayers of the faithful.

Why do you assume Jesus is not capable of divine intervention? I've tested and tried Him and found Him to be the Way, the Truth, and the Life. How about you?
