how come my laptop didnt automatically have a microsoft powerpoint installed? and how can i download one onto my laptop?

Hi,

Some new computers come with complete versions of Office, others with 30 day trial versions of Office, and some without any version of Office. It all depends upon what you ordered on your computer.

All Mac laptops come with a 30 day free trial, so you probably have a Windows, Unix, or LINUX operating system.

The source below has Microsoft's web site information about Office, but it's available almost everywhere.

Powerpoint is part of Microsoft "Office" If you have the "Office" discs, you can get it from there. It's possible that someone only downloaded a portion of "Office" on your laptop, possibly because it has a smallish harddrive or a lack of memory. I don't know if you can get it from a website.
