I'm a junior already, and I've found it hard to find common interests with people, especially since my university is primarily a research institution where everyone's so focused on their academics and you feel pressure if you're not totally passionate about your academics.

I'm starting to wonder if I'll even be able to get through, and getting through's my priority, not outstanding grades. Usually my interaction with people is just a meal once every two weeks maybe and then I just spend the rest of my time in my room or at the library. Maybe I just need to talk more to people around me in class, meet more people.

The thing is that I expect this from my university, since it seems geared toward really independent thinkers who like to work alone. I'm not even sure if my personality type is meant for a strong network of people to support me. I think this transferred from high school, where I dealt with all my stresses myself and managed fine. But college is a lot different.

Something to consider from barna.org:
"One of the most significant differences between active-faith and no-faith Americans is the cultural disengagement and sense of independence exhibited by atheists and agnostics in many areas of life. They are less likely than active-faith Americans to be registered to vote, to volunteer to help a non-church-related non-profit, to describe themselves as "active in the community", and to personally help or serve a homeless or poor person. One of the outcomes of this profile - and one of the least favorable points of comparison for atheist and agnostic adults - is the paltry amount of money they donate to charitable causes. The typical no-faith American donated just $200 in 2006, which is more than seven times less than the amount contributed by the prototypical active-faith adult ($1500). Even when church-based giving is subtracted from the equation, active-faith adults donated twice as many dollars last year as did atheists and agnostics."

I'm pretty new to campervaning, what I would like to know is during the winter time when the campervan is laid up how can I stop condensation in the Engine compartment. i-e water laying on top of the inner wheal arch, I thought it was water getting past the rubber seal under the bonnet so I renewed the rubber seal and found it is condensation and not a leak. Can any body advise me.

I see everyone here getting excited about the fact that TC is gone next year but its not going to make a huge difference. The cars huge amounts of downforce make it very hard for drivers to spin the tyres anyway. If the cars were still V10s i could see it being different but with the limited power they have from the V8s these days it is simply smothered by the huge aerodynamic grip the cars have.

The removal of variable engine braking is a much bigger hindrence to drivers yet nobody even mentions that and even that is not going to make a huge difference.

Look at the testing times from last week, no one struggled. No one was unable to put the power down. The only difference that will happen is that when a driver does make a mistake it will probably mean he will get more sideways than before.

Sorry to burst everyones bubble here who thinks that next year will be like the good ol' days but thats just the way it is going to be.

Both cars (i.e. the one with the dead and the one with the live battery) are Renault Clios.
Thank you!

Also I know I need to run the car for half an hour or so once it is up and running again; do I need to do this while driving out and about or can I just put my foot on the accelerator while in neutral for 30 minutes to recharge it?

Boss asks, ''Did you send off discs to NAO?''
Clerk says ''Yessir'', despite not having made them - too lazy.
Boss rings NAO and asks,''Did you get the discs?''
NAO say, ''No.''
Boss tells Bosses Bosses Boss that discs are lost.
Then National outcry 'cos clerk is an idle lying scumbag.
Fun what ??

I'd like to find a reasonably priced telescope for my husband.
I want to wow him with a new toy, basicly . He needs something that offers the most celestial viewability and I have no idea (other than a reflector type) on what to get a beginner.
Which brands have more bang for the buck and which should I avoid?
