The Running Man. I know, you're all going to say that's not Stephen King, it's Richard Bachman, but Bachman is King and it's my favorite.

The Shawshank Redemption. Hands down the greatest movie based on a Stephen King novel.

The Shawshank Redemption is definitely #1. The Green Mile next, and Misery.

The Shawshank Redemption was undoubtedly the best movie made from his works. Based on the short story "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption" the movie was up for several Academy Awards. "You better get living or you better get dying"

Shawshank Redemption hands down is the best movie adapted from one of SK's stories. I also really like Storm of the Century.

I would have to agree about The Shawshank Redemption. Stand by Me was also very good. I think his horror novels have mostly been disappointing movies - although I love the books.
