All day (literally) I look for a job, but for whatever reason (maybe the time of year??) I can't score anything even with some experience! Anyway, with Christmas now at my doorstep along with everything else, I have come to realize that I will not have even one present for my kids this year. But I would really like to plan something for them, but I want it to be unique and very special. They are truly wonderful children. Any ideas for something I could plan with them on this Christmas day? I will be grateful for ANY ideas you may have! Thank you!

ive been in love with this guy for over a year and ive been hurt by him alot. hes not ready for anything serious and ive been like waiting to be with him cuz i love him so much and i dont want to date anyone else and i dont think that anyone else can make me feel the way he does.

but now ive met this new guy and hes kinda cute and kinda my type of guy. should i give him a chance? or just get to know him and be his friend first? should i just go out with him to see if someone else can make me feel the way the other guy does? but im scared to fall for another guy because of being hurt so bad again. how do i get over that? and wat should i do?

this is really random,i actually don't know why I'm about to post on here,i just need to get a few things out....my friends are shitty....why did i think it was okay to tell someone i liked them just to make them happy?i felt sorry for them
i began to like them,but i wasn't happy?why?i really dont know....
we were kind dating,but not in an actual relationship,and i was off flirting with other guys,but at the end of the day i still wanted him to be there....
i guess i was just so lonely,i wasn't in complete like with him,i just needed someone to be there at the end of the day to make me smile,to send me cute text messages,to come over for cuddles and kisses..


me and this person recently stopped talking...I've been feeling really shitty lately and im not quite sure why,other then being lonely.....maybe this is why?im feeling guilty...im bad at expressing my feelings,because i always hold them in,i never tell people how i really feel about them.....if anyone has anything to say,feelfree

hello

i drive a 1992 Bmw 325I

and the problem i am having is when i turn the igniton off and remove the keep my accsssories remain on such as the miles on the dash and my radio. my accessories are still getting power and this drains my battery i have to jump start it everytime i want to use it.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Today, my friend came up to me and told me that my brother had said to her that i had sex ...with someone. im 15 years old, never had a bf, havnt had my first kiss... idk why he would say this, and im afraid people will think that about me that im a sl*t , and im afraid my mom will find out. im really pretty there isnt really any reason for me not to have had a bf or gotten my first kiss yet, but i guess its gunna take time, i think this boy likes me...ANYWAYS .lol so, idk why he would say this and should i just let it go and hope he doesnt tell everyone???

1- Is there a particular method you would suggest starting with? As far as reading a beginner's book or watching a dvd on the subject...or maybe watching those lessons people give on YouTube.

2- Should I start with a pick or just finger strumming or whatever you'd call it?

3- Is there a popular website you go to that has chords to alot of songs (a free site).

4- And my last question, I hope I can type this in a way that makes sense...

When I play a G, I have a finger on the top string, 2nd string, and bottom two strings I think it is, well, in that case, I obviously strum all the strings on the guitar. But what about a chord that I only hold the bottom two strings or something? Would I only strum the bottom two strings for that chord? Or still strum them all?
Does that make any sense?....

I'm self taught and was sure my stroke could use some refining. I found a coach at the local pool and after one brief lesson feel like my progress went backword.
Typically I swim in the ocean and when at the pool swim in the same style. Usaully a mile with no stopping, and have never wanted to wear speedos or shave as I'm one of those type of guys and speed is not that important to me. Well my new coach claims my surf trunks impede my stroke leading to decreased efficency. He also wants me to knock off my long swims and swim "intervals" with the resting claiming these will lead to not only faster swims but increased fitness- is this true?. I could see how the different strokes would exercise different muscles but I do other land exercises for some of those muscles I'm certain. He wants me to glide with my hands instead of digging which is what I was working on today. I don't feel like I got a good workout as I got tired really fast and a little frustrated. He was teaching 20 students

Light power it's measured in Watts/stereoradian but this is not sufficient to measure the human perception of light so it's "invented" the candela, which has to do with the “light sensitivity function”.

So it happens with sound. We perceive sounds with same power but different frequency as if they had different intensity. So it’s invented the loudness or the dBA which consists on adding or subtracting dB to the real intensity so we obtain loudness.

The difference between this two facts is for mi very big: light has to be measured with a new basic unit (candela) but sound can be measured just adding or subtracting to the real measurement (in dB’s) a factor given in a chart (in dB’s too) obtaining dBA which is not actually a new unit.

My question(s) (at last!) is(are):

Couldn’t be the light measured just with a correction factor as it’s done with sound so we didn’t have to use the candela?

Could be defined a new basic unit to express the loudness?
