Because, I for one, am. And I can't help but laugh at every time I see "Public schools are full of socialist propaganda." Everyday, there is some fundraiser, or some BUSINESS sponsered event. There's always are those school sold rings that cost over $100. Candyman fundraisers? Every year.

From my state's Civics and Economics text book, there is a line in there that says "...but China is Communist so we must be watchful." Where's the pro-socialism there? The preceding sentence in that book said that China is a good ally to the US partly due to strong trade. Anti-capitalism? I don't see any. And this isn't the only example. Not that I have anything against the book.

And I know that there will be all kinds of deflections to the question, as most of us Yahooligans are so fond of doing, but the question still stands. For those who are picky about questions format.

And this applies to all of the public schools I've been too. 2 Elementary. 2 Middle. 2 High. And now an Early College.

I just bought a bottle of hydroxycut and it says that it will work super with eating right and exercise.. now i workout 3 times a week i do cardio and weight training... do I use hydroxycut only on the days where i work out or do I still use it everyday? For those of you that read my other question, this one is kind of in the same ballpark. Originally, my issue was whether or not I should leave my parents' house in FL & move to NY on my own. I have since decided to go back to NY & finally got an interview set up for next week. I had told them a few weeks ago that I was going to begin looking for jobs in NY & then today I broke the news about the interview to them. My mom took it fairly well, but my father flipped out. I understand he's upset that I'm growing up & moving on with my life, but in my opinion he crossed the line. He came into my room telling me that he hates my b/f (a guy that he loved before this point) & told me that I allow my b/f to walk all over me & that my b/f doesn't love me. My father is under the impression that I'm moving for my b/f & not for myself, but this is not the case. I'm confused now b/c my father is unhappy & I can't even be happy about my decision to move. Can I please just get some feeback on this?

I can't understand why they would put this little addendum to it when it is obviously you have some kind of preventive maintenance in mind. I do anyway because it does make the computer run smoother.

2. steal the bosses chair and say, " now I AM IN CHARGE! MWAHAHAHA"

3. tap people next to you and duck when they turn

4. say you dropped your pen and then go under the table an say," OH MY GOD! A BODY!"

5. ask to make a suggestion, then stand and fart.

6. bark at people who pass by the boardroom

7. ask why the water cooler is on fire.

8. take out your lunch and start eating, then when the boss says your name, offer to share your sandwich

9. dress up in knights armor, then say," i thought it was casual friday."

10. bring gi joes and reinact world war 2 after the meeting starts.

I can connect to the wireless router alright, but there is still no Internet connection. I ran a diagnostic and it comes up with this:

*There may be a problem with the Domain Name Servers (DNS)

Windows attempted to find the well known host "www.microsoft.com" using DNS. The server responded that the name was unknown.*

Can anyone help me fix this problem? I can't find anything on the Internet. (Just to let you know I am using a separate computer to ask this question. I CANNOT connect to the Internet at ALL on the other computer running Vista).

ok. here's the story. my landlady had a dog that ran loose around our house. we have 2 black labs that we pay 80 dollars extra in rent per month for. her dog had been coming over to our house, (where our dogs ARE tied up) and eating my dogs food and trying to breed with my female. i asked her several times to please keep the dog tied up,and she still let it run loose. now the dog has been found dead and since i complained about the animal she is trying to say i poisoned her dog and stated that she might evict me. can she do this? i didn't do anything to the dog. i have lived there almost 2 years and always paid my rent on time. we pay every two weeks with no lease or contract, she just writes a receipt each time we pay. what are my rights and how long must my eviction notice be for? do i have the standard 30 days? i live in tennessee, if anyone would know the laws about this issue for this state.

I stopped talking to my mother, step father, sister and brother because of child abuse issues and dysfunctional family issues. They befriended my husband's ex-wife and the ex-wife now takes my step-children to their house to visit them. This is all just to make me mad, which it doesn't, but I'm concerned for my step children. I told the ex-wife about the child abuse, but she says she is with them the whole time. My step children know that I don't have a relationship with my family, so I can't imagine how confused they must be. I'm very careful about what to say to them since they are only 7 & 8. Basically my family (psychos) and the ex-wife have NO problem telling children things they shouldn't know which includes bad mouthing me and my husband. The ex-wife even has them lying to their father about seeing my family. I'm considering either getting a restraining order or filing charges against my family for the abuse. What would you do if you were in this situation?
