Maybe a mosquito bit you on the eye when you were sleeping. This has happened to me twice. But if your actual eye is red at all, it's more likely an infection, as previous answerers have mentioned.

Most likely there was a dog hair, or dust mite in your bed. It got in your eye and you had a small allergic reaction. Flush your eye with water and it should go away soon. If not, go to the dr!

You may have conjunctivitis or pink eye which is caused by the following:
Viruses
Bacteria
Allergies
A chemical splash in the eye
A foreign object in the eye

Well when I was 7 a red ant bit my eyelid and I woke up and it looked like a golf ball was in my eye.. If that's how it is.. then sorry. =/ It's pretty unlikely though...

Pink eye more than likely it is very contagious very very easy to get. You just take medicine it will clear. You also may have allergies
