Depends on her age!And that was a good chocie to put her age! but i would get her maybe a ring or some perfume. If she doesnt lik that kind of stuff then go with the nessedes lik a new toaster or blender.if she smokes then ciggarettes. think of stuff that she has been saying she has needed for a long time if u dont hav that much money or ur young (lik 8 - 15) then get the sweet but simple and CHEAP stuff..Like a candy bar with a sweet inacent card. But if she is 78 i dout u are young! i wish u lots of luck. I hope i helped u out ur friend

Mystorie woman!! :)

If you're close enough I think you should go do something with her or hire a cleaning crew to do her house if she has trouble getting around. Something along those lines. In my experience most people that age have more than enough crap and don't want any more. They really appreciate things like I mentioned. We pay my in-laws cable bill for the year every Christmas. They're on a fixed income so they really appreciate that.

A nice day of pampering at the spa. A lot of places have packages targeted for elderly women to ease muscle and joint pain as well as things such as skin firming.
