Who was subserviant to whom? Was this the first form of sexism when they got rid of Lilith out of the bible because of this or do people understand who and what she stood for?

it seems to me that many christians in this forum are coming around to accepting the theory of evolution as the best explanation for how man and other life forms got here. this became apparent to me over the last few questions i asked. if you're a christian and you still think evolution is a lie, i'm curious to know what branch of christianity you follow.

Me and this guy started seeing each other and we both really liked each other. Then he decided he wanted to slow things down b/c we were moving so fast. He wanted to get to know each other better. Which was fine with me. He would still talk to me on i.m. every couple of days or so, but not at all as much as before. And he knew I wanted to see him sometime in the next couple of days. (We haven't seen each other in two weeks). but I haven't heard from him in a couple of days. so i sent him a message just asking him to be straight up with me. either he wants to get to know each other or he doesn't. he told me that he's been too busy and i expect too much of him. which i don't see how he thinks that if we haven't seen each other in two weeks and i almost always wait for him to make contact first. so i give him the opportunity to just be straight up with me and he says he's just busy. what do you think?

I've heard two sides. I've heard it's better to leave a desktop computer on because turning it on and off on a daily basis may wear on the hard drive which can eventually seize. But I also understand that leave it on will use a fair amount of electricity in a year.

How come Northeast Asians don't have bright colored hair even if they have the same climate as europe?

I dont get it.

People near the equator have more melanin, hence black hair and dark skin.

Europeans are far north and since there are no sunlight they evoved light skin and bright hair.

But Northeast asians have a similiar climate to europe...
Why then did they not evolve bright colored hair?

What’s the matter? Surprised? Now let’s step back for a moment and analyze a typical reaction to the previous passage. When one normally reads the first sentence written above he/she automatically conjures up the category “colors” as a classification and his/her mind is in a state of fixation in which anything out of the ordinary(in this case anything but the word “colors”) would prove to be an instant breech upon human logic and expectancy. The moment the reader comes upon the category “word” as the answer a sudden sensation of awkwardness swarms his/her mind as if something is simply out of place. Who would have thought that the answer would be something so insignificant like “words” when the obvious and traditional answer would be “colors?” Surprisingly, that awkwardness has a name. Its name is irony.
