I have had hives before and I know its an allergic reaction to this shirt i bought and wore for at least 8 hours before washing it first. They have been coming and going for about 36 hours and i went to the doctor and made sure it wasnt strep, and it wasnt. Does any one know how i can get relief????? Any cures or something, anything?????

My sister and i got into a huge fight today that ended up with us hitting each other. our mom pulled us apart and sent us each to a "cool down" spot, which was one of us at each end of the kitchen table, while mom was cooking for 2morrow. this is not anything new, mom makes us do this if we get into a fight. but 2day my sister looked at me, even tho mom was right there and told me it was my fault, then we started arguing again, mom told us to be quiet, then before i realized what was happening i told my sister to go f*C% it. My mom came UNGLUED! she sent my sister to her room then turned on me. She started lecturing me about the CORRECT way to handle a situation. Then she stuck a bar of SOAP in my mouth! i am NOT FIVE! My sister ended up hardly getting into trouble at ALL!! I got also got grounded for the rest of the break and mom said that she might not let me go shopping on friday that she would have to think about it. Everyone knows dogs have super-sensitive noses and can track scents for miles. But how to they know which direction to travel? If a bloodhound is searching for someone, why doesn't it start travelling in the opposite direction 50% of the time, still following the trail,but moving towards the person's starting point? Does scent have some sort of directional indicators that say "person approached from this direction and travelled in this direction"? Does it have to do with the strength of the scent (weaker = older)? You wouldn't think the strength of a scent would be much different from one spot to a point a few feet away, but dogs do have exceptional noses. If anyone out there has a scientific answer, I'd love to hear it.

I wont to buy a sako 85 but they only have 22 inch barrels. I am wondering if this barrel is to short for a 25-06? Would a 24 inch barrel be better or is a 22 inch barrel long enough?

Whenever I do something wrong, even the tiniest thing, like spilling a little bit of juice, my eleven year old sister would always threaten to tell our mom. Sometimes she even lies about the things I did, like I hit her or something (even though I didn't) just to get me in trouble. Also, when she thinks I swore, (which I never do, but a lot of words, like duck sound like swear words) she runs to mom, and I get in trouble, no matter how many times I say I didn't do it. When I do something really bad and I get caught, it's okay with me, but the tattle-taling on the tiny things drives me nuts. What should I do?

Now, my holidays are not until next year (April) but I'm already stressing about it so I'd like to hear your advise. We adopted our dog from the pound about 4 months ago. She is an australian cattle dog and was dumped by their previous owners after 7 years. She was very stressed at the pound (obviously) and is quite scared and defensive towards other dogs (but not plain aggressive though). I have two options. The first one is a company (in Australia) called Don't fret pet and basically it's families (without other dogs) who look after your dog whilst you're on holidays. The other option is the normal boarding kennel. Now money is not an issue and I'm willing to spend whatever it takes so that she does not suffer during those two weeks. The first option sounds good but I'm concerned the people (even though theyhave police checks etc) might not treat her properly and I would never know about it. The kennel I'm looking at has a good reputation but I know it will stress her heaps. Advice?
