I wouldn't purchase something specifically because Oprah endorses it, but I have read numerous books suggested by her book club and really enjoyed them! Oprah is a highly intelligent person and I'm just interested in what makes her tick! She is one of the top 5 self made million (or billion) aires, grew up poor and has achieved everything she has on her own. She's someone I completely respect, she's done SO much for children and education and is truly one of my biggest idols! :) So, don't purchase something just because someone endorses it...purchase it if they are your mentor. :)

i love Oprah but no I don't I find her book club books to be boring and it's funny b/c i have my own book club and one of the memebers always picks one of Oprahs books for reading.

Nope. I'm not a fan of Oprah anyway. I didn't know people buy stuff "just" because Oprah tells to....

no. i've read one book she recommended b/c i had to for school. it was alright but not something i would pick on my own. i have a couple friends who read another book she recommended b/c they thought it would be good since it was on her book list and they hated it.
