what you are asking is not clear.when you balance the general journal you get the balancing figure of it.it should always balance.coz you always follow the double entry system.ryt?

If you are balancing the general journal in Basic Accounting or Bookeeping what is the result you look for? aren't the debits supposed to equal the credits before you can proceed?DUH!!
