My sister and i got into a huge fight today that ended up with us hitting each other. our mom pulled us apart and sent us each to a "cool down" spot, which was one of us at each end of the kitchen table, while mom was cooking for 2morrow. this is not anything new, mom makes us do this if we get into a fight. but 2day my sister looked at me, even tho mom was right there and told me it was my fault, then we started arguing again, mom told us to be quiet, then before i realized what was happening i told my sister to go f*C% it. My mom came UNGLUED! she sent my sister to her room then turned on me. She started lecturing me about the CORRECT way to handle a situation. Then she stuck a bar of SOAP in my mouth! i am NOT FIVE! My sister ended up hardly getting into trouble at ALL!! I got also got grounded for the rest of the break and mom said that she might not let me go shopping on friday that she would have to think about it. Is this fair? we both did the same thing but only i really

Sounds like my life...my sister and i fight and my mom sounds EXACTLY like ur mom. Talk to ur mom and try to work it out with her. I am having trouble with my mom as well, and we have been talking about a LOT of things....it helps alot. try it and see what happens.

Its not the fact that your sister got away with anything, its the fact that you took things too far. So she said something... big deal!! That doesn't mean you need to use a stupid word to get your point across. She did it just to get you blow up, and then you'd be in trouble... she's not stupid, ya know!

I applaud your mom for taking such "drastic" measures. Putting soap in your mouth was the right thing to do! I may only be 20, but I was raised right. If I even said "crap" I got soap in the mouth. Being a young lady, you need to start having respect. You're not old enough, nor mature enough, to be using such profanity.

Someday you'll thank your mom for all the lessons she tried to teach you, especially when you have your own children and they give you a dose of your own medicine.

Just try to calm down and have a nice Thanksgiving tomorrow. You're off school... just relax! This will blow over....

Your mom became unglued because of the fowl language you use toward your sister. This is the reason why she shove soap in your mouth. You are the older sister and mom expects little bit more from you.

It doesn't matter how long you are being grounded. Go and apologize to your baby sister. Your mom would be happy and please to see you make the first move, and she will see that you are growing up as well. God bless.

If your sister had said what YOU said, I am sure your mom would have did the same to her.She didnt though and although you arent 5 you were acting like it.
What was the fight over in the first place?
You both need to grow up and learn to RESPECT one another, and learn to tame those tempers, because if you cant learn to deal with your tempers NOW, then when you get a guy, he will do one of 3 things, take your abuse when you dont get your way,(not forever) ,dump you, or turn and whip the daylights out of you.
