If god is all -powerful,why does he need to work in mysterious ways?

My mother in law still smokes, but only about 8 cigs a day (oh she can barely make it out the door to smoke too, we make her smoke outside cause we dont want cancer) and after she smokes, she does her nebulizer. Will she develop pnuemonia by doing this?

She refuses to quit and is in hospice care, but I think she will get pnuemonia if she continues on her current path. Thoughts?
This poor lady can BARELY make it out of her room, but she is determined to take her last breathe with nicotine in it.

Are the OT laws still to be followed or not ? What does it mean when people say the OT law has been "fullfilled" by Jesus.

I saw this answer given in reference to the 10 commandments. If the 10 commandments have been "fullfilled" by Jesus, do they still stand or not ? Is stealing & murder OK or not OK ? What about idol worship and keeping the sabbath ?

why a lot of americans are against it? i don't understand why you don't support a such fair system...
is it the majority of the Americans who think that (that means even the poorest people) or just a minority but the powerfull minority?

Hi there,

I am 16 weeks pregnant (4 mos). Since about the beginning of 3 mos along, I get sick whenever I brush my teeth. I know that with regular morning sickness, the woman gets sick every morning and it goes away by about 12 weeks. My sickness only comes on when I brush my teeth, and 4 mos later it still isn't going away... What is causing this? Anyone else ever had this problem?

I moved in to an apt. on Aug. 6th,2007. At that time the landlord did not request a security deposit. Upon moving in I could see why. The walls were dirty and had different colors of splattered paint ( previous tenant was an artist) and the carpet was filthy and covered in dog hair. I called the landlord but he was out of town. I cleaned the place up. 3 weeks later he called requesting a security deposit and agreed the apt was a mess. He said he would "work with me on the deposit. I gave him $200 at that time. In sept. he gave me a lease to sign...which i did and i made a not on the lease as to the condition of the apt. Sept and Oct. I gave him more money towards the deposit which left me owing $100 as of nov.1. Meantime I have been paying my rent on time. I received an eviction notoice and court date for the remaining $100 PLUS $5 A day late fees from day one. I did not receive a 7 day notice. This does not seem right or fair at all. Any suggestions?

I have been maried 20 years We have 2 children 17 and 12.
My husband was diagnosed bi-polar 2 years ago and has been on meds that work pretty good for him for about 1 year.
This has been the hardest time for me. He has been verbally
abusive since he has been diagnosed and has had times of violence throwing stuff and breaking furniture. His meds seem to have his violence under control finally. I am no spring chicken and hate the idea of starting over. I am concerned about financial security also It's scarey! But I wake up every other night with bad dreams of selfish and verbal bad behavior from my husband. He is just not the same guy I married. I said until death do us part in sickness and health. But I am miserable. What should I do?
