Good one. Not based in fact or evidence. It doesn't matter where the man says something, the woman will hear him. And she'll remember whatever he said for, like, forever. And yes, he will be wrong. Case in point. The fool wouldn't be in the woods if he had stopped and asked for directions.
(I'm just trying to curry favor with the female audience here, can you tell?)

Too deep in the woods for me Jack. We ain't supposed to think on P&S. I hope this is P&S. Some woman was looking for you. Emailed me by mistake, I guess. Be on the look out Jack. Women are everywhere. Even in the woods.

ACT I - Scene I
(Jack has no lines...he's just standing around uttering the word "but" once in awhile, and looking pretty.
I haven't figured out who the screaming woman is yet, she may turn out to be someone he just ran into 2 minutes prior to this scene).
You know all about that--huh, Jack!?!
You taught every man---of every generation---how to be wrong (and charm their ways out of looking wrong).
Hell, you even taught them how to look 20 or 30 years younger than their ages, AT:
"The Jack-$h!+ School of Charm"!!!!
Of course he's wrong....he's always wrong...out-of-line...plain wrong!!!! And, you know it...cause you taught him...
Then, you taught him how to hide out in the woods---and, not alone!!!!!
(School Master) Jack--"When you hide out in the woods, make sure you have a broad waiting for you, ha, ha."
Jack's Students--(in unison)--"Ha, ha...hail Jack!"
You must be very proud, indeed......of all your prodigies!!! They follow you like sheep.
All men think they are Jack...and Jack can do no wrong....la, de, da...
(Wow, that DID feel GREAT...Maybe I'll get out of the Cuckoo's Nest sooner than expected--Ranting is very good therapy!!--Thanks, Jack, always good to see ya).

Maybe. Suppose a wood nymph jumps out from behind a tree and corrects him?

Only if what he said was, indeed, wrong.
Not all women disagree with everything men have to say. I happen to feel that my boyfriend is right quite a bit of the time, and am not ashamed to admit it.
GIRLS tend to be wrong more often in my experience, actually.
(I'm a woman, by the way.)

according to the universal rule book, yes, but it's not your fault....I blame Eve, she started the avalanche, and poor Adam, he was just looking for a good time
