A Six-Word story is simply that; a story of 6 word,s no more no less.

The idea came from Hemmingway, when he wrote, "For sale, baby shoes. Never used." He is said to have called it his finest work.

So basically you can be funny, express a deep moral, make sociopolitical insight, or even just describe a scene--but you have to use exactly 6 words.

1) Even superheroes need to grieve sometimes.
2) From space, the world looks peaceful.
3) Epitaph: "No, no! The OTHER right!"

Ok. This is a question about my little sister. Ok. Well she has EXTREMELY thick hair. It is very hard to brush. She has tried getting it thinned, but it didn't work. Whenever she brushes her hair, it breaks off and creates split ends. A lot of them. I have no idea how to help her so that's why I'm asking you guys. Help us please! Any tips would be great!

Is there anyone who has ever studied this report and not laughed their a$$ off? He actually claims to be able to know the temperature (to within tenths of a degree) 500 years ago by studying tree rings? I mean COME ON! Did it ever occur to him that trees only grow during the early spring to summer periods. Or that trees do very little growing in the winter (6 to 7 months out of the year in many parts). Or maybe during a particular year, there was a drought which caused minimal growth, even though temps were high. Or how about the fact that night time (half of most days) is not represented as trees do not photosynthesis without light. Did anyone ever think about this when he first introduced this "ground breaking" report?

Faster throttle response would be an important safety feature if suddenly becoming aware of a need to climb over terrain?
A reduction from 10 secs to 5 to 6 secs could be crucial in avoiding a crash? How long have the better fuel control units been available in newer turbofans?

Lots of guessing here as usual... if you guys are talking about the CFM56 and saying 10 seconds you're a bit off. 5-6 seconds tops... not sure about the old JT8Ds but I can't imagine even them taking 10 seconds. As Grumpy Geezer said, the Fuel Control Units in these newer turbofans make a world of difference... but he was voted down so that pretty much sums up our knowledge base here.

Christians that believe in evolution need only look around. All the other animals are naked. They have no knowledge of good and evil.

Just look at us. We rule over the entire earth. That didn't happen through some evolution process.

The Scriptures say, In nothing is Gods wrath kindles then in those who deny his hand in every thing.

By embracing a pagan belief like Darwinism you not only admit to denying your creators hand in his work but you also show your self as a bad example to other Christians and become a stumbling block to them.

Did you know that Evolution is starting to lean on the idea that there may have been an Eve that started man kind?

They are starting to see the truth.
