Has sadism or masochism in movies ever turned you on?

I was watching this movie by Ingmar Bergman.. "Fanny and Alexander'... There is this whipping scene in the movie where the bishop spanks his son for lying. It was so beautifully orchestrated that it won my awe. Has that happened to you ever? If yes, which scene?

no i saw passion of the christ but i dont understand how that cud turn someone on.
