People still sin. It didn't prevent that. People still get punished for sinning by being sent to the flaming abyss, so it didn't prevent that. Why should one care if some dude got executed 2,000 years ago?

I used to be able to talk to both boys and girls about a year ago without feeling uncomfortable and alot of my friends were boys then but I hung out with a few girls.
About half a year ago I met my exgirlfriend's bestfriend and then I met my exgirlfriend and we're bestfriends and I gradually stopped hanging about with boys and lately alot of my exgirlfriend's exboyfriends have been around and I found it really uncomfortable and I've talked to these guys before when they were going out with my ex and I didn't feel this uncomfortable and I was also being very moody around other guys today and felt the exact same and one of my ex's exs made me abit angry and I slammed him against the wall without thinking about it and then my ex's boyfriend made me angry and I slammed him against the wall and I just felt really uncomfortable today around any guy and I was very moody around them, when I was just with the girls I was ok...

The second law of thermodynamics says that on average, the amount of disorder in the universe is always increasing, which means the amount of order we see is unlikely (for example, eggs can break, but can't unbreak).
Consider that if spacetime is infinite, with all the disorder, do you think the possibility (emphasis on the word possibility) exists that you and I pop into existence by chance - only for a brief moment - complete with a package of memories and history... and even Y! Answers?

a) Absolutely! A person’s status or financial status is not important to me. Their character and personality is what’s important to me. If they have a good heart and they are honest, then nothing else matters to me.

b) Maybe. It would depend on how unfortunate they were. I mean, if they are jobless, homeless and broke then it would be hard for us to be friends – but anything is possible. I wouldn’t immediately can the idea, but I would have to think long and hard about it.

c) No way. Why would I want to be friends with someone who is less fortunate than myself? We wouldn’t be compatible. I would definitely need somebody who is on the same page as myself.

d) I don’t have any friends and don’t forsee myself having any, so this question doesn’t apply to me.

i live with my boyfriend for almost 7 years, but i can't let him continue to play the games he plays. He is always hanging out with other females. He oftentimes comes home after work 5 or more hours after he gets off. I find telephone numbers all of the time in his pockets, most of whom I know but don't necessarily care for, he never takes me out anywhere except for breakfast or dinner (not fancy ever) and doesn't take me with him when he goes out @ about. We argue all of the time and I try telling him that it is not accptable to have female friends that I have never even met. And I don't believe that it is alright to have to hang out with them on a daily basis, especially when I am at home waiting for him. When he takes off, he says that he'll be right back, but doesn't usually come back for hours. He has called me to say that he'd be home soon and didn't for two or three days. No phone call, no reason whatsoever. And then has the nerve to question me why I get so pissed off.

When Karl is talking to this happy couple at Rick's cafe, the gentleman calls his wife "Liebchen" which would tend to imply they were from a "German speaking” country like Germany, Austria, or Switzerland ... or it might just be his nickname for her. What threw me is that, after that, one of them asked the time by saying "what clock" ... which is how the question is asked in Finnish ... to which the other answered "ten Clock" ... However, I would have expected the Finnish answer to be "clock ten". Is this likely to be a misstatement of "ten o'clock" or is it from some other language? I have encountered "how many hours" or "what hour" in a variety of languages. However, I am not an expert in European languages. Does anyone know of a language other than Finnish where the common phrase for asking the time is "What Clock?" and what of the answer "ten clock" and is the use of the nickname "Liebchen" relevant to the question?"
