I work full time have been all along, we have a home, 4 children. Ladies he is only working a few hours here and there maybe two days a week. Has put in three or four applications online, made a couple of calls. He refuses to take any job because he is better then $8.00 an hour. I understand its a pride issue, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do for your family. We are going to lose our home soon.

I am struggling paying everything- and his job he quit because the boss' son got treated better- right in i understood his frustration- wrong because we lost our refinance when he quit his job and now we are about to be foreclosed on.

About as long as it takes me to type this response...My husband quit his job of 7 years ...and he made damn sure he had another job lined up before giving his notice....

Your husband quit a better paying job because the son's got treated better?? I am sorry but that is so lame....That is life...it happens everywhere...You can work your *ss off and there will always be someone who gets better treatment...even if they don't deserve it...or because they are family...I don't understand why a man would put his family in the position....he should have just sucked it up and stayed with the job or found another one that payed as well or better...before just up and leaving....

tell him to keep the job he has but also go to some less paying job on the days he has off to help make ends meet. tell him hes going to pull his weight and help out or you will have to file bankruptsy and it will hurt both of you. then i would tell him if things dont change within a month then he can move out so you can find a room mate to help out more then he wants to. its been 1 1/2 years i couldnt keep pulling the load.

if you love him then you'll stand by him. I would try getting a job too to help with the finance, I mean maybe if he quit his job and wasn't doing **** for a year and a half then yeah i would see where you would be asking how long would you put up with this, but the man is trying atleast he's working, good luck with yall and just remember maybe he needs your support, if you love him them don't let things like this get in your way..it gets worse before it gets better!

what a loser. You need to get rid of him and worry about you and the kids. He is never going to amount to anything the way he is going and you are only going to get into more financial trouble the longer you stay with him. I know that being alone is scary but lots of people do it and they are doing just fine. You will be glad you did

you will desire to positioned money right into a batch plant to hold cement quite than messing around with a cement mixer each and every freaking evening. Mine takes 10-15 minutes for finished conflict paint, 5 minutes for undemanding paintings conflict gown.

With my other option being divorce??? It shouldn't be that easy.

Maybe he is depressed about his position so he isn't motivated. Talk to him calmly and explain that the family needs more help and then help him make a new resume and help him find suitable openings for him to apply for.

Quitting his job before he found a new one was stupid.
I would have said aplly for new jobs then leave.
Now as time goes by he gets less and less employable

It depends. I mean, has he been really trying to find a new full time job instead of just relying on these side jobs? I wouldn't give up on him. He is, afterall, still WORKING which means he IS responsible and still contributing to the family. Right now, he needs you to be supportive and encouraging. He is probably going through alot right now.

sounds like he might be on drugs
any job is better than none,
no matter what the pay
if he refuses to communicate with you i'd suggest consulting a lawyer
