A lot of politicians do a lot of harm but some exceptions changed the world for the better, Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela.
Anarchy appealed to me when I was younger. It relies on good people with good intentions. Take that Spanish situation. Put one Neocon in there who wants to keep the stuff for himself or a few and the system falls apart. People are not good generally, no one is good and will work solely for the common good all the time including me and I do consider myself an idealist.
It's my belief is you do need a structure to keep our selfish and destructive urges in check. Anarchy is Utopian and will not work in reality, it denies or ignores our deepest instincts. Much like libertarianism it idealizes human beings. It would be great if it worked but I'm convinced based on my experience with people it will not

Politicians in general do more good than harm, the problem is people don't take the time to realize the good. This is because it requires some detective work: you won't see it on the nightly news, and most policy implementations that are intended to bring about good changes don't materialize until well after the policy was implemented, and everyone conveniently forgets about it. The government will ALWAYS hear it from its people when they screw up, but do they ever get a pat on the back? Never.

Rome under Nero and some of the preceding dictators did away with the Roman politicians. The empire had the best armies and no independent politicians.
Eventually somebody did away with Rome.

because of fact the purpose of this conflict is to do away with terrorists and particularly some international places have been the sufferers of terrorism, i've got self assurance that those different international places would desire to deliver many greater troops to help with this combat. I understand there are troops from different international places in Afghanistan yet their numbers are far decrease than the U. S.. without many greater troops, it fairly is a dropping combat. i've got self assurance finally we can bypass away and in basic terms have troops on the Pakistan border to maintain Al Qaeda from getting their nuclear weapons. i do no longer see how we can keep investment this conflict. A co-people son is leaving for Afghanistan the next day. My heart is going out to her. I would desire to be very cautious what I say to her. whilst i know her son for his options, i contemplate whether he does no longer have been greater advantageous off purely ending the final 2 years of his college training. She suggested the Marines have fairly made a guy of him yet, understandably, she is a basket case. i desire he comes back to stay out his existence. We do want greater genuine adult adult males in our society.

OK! what do you propose to replace them with?
After all, someone has to keep some order.
Lets get the Beatles to decide what happens and we can get Bob Dylan to give the weather report (and tell us which way the wind is gonna blow)

Or maybe Hugo Chavez?

Yes.
Let the gangs rule.

Although I would have to admit that we Working People would be much better off without Democrat Politicians.
