I've just recently been to a sit in on a breast feeding class and I found it very useful because there are so many things I didn't know about the advantages of breast feeding my baby.
The teacher of the class told me that you shouldn't give your baby a dummy while breast feeding because as the baby is supposed to have his/her mouth wide open to suck the milk from the areola (not the nipple) and to suck on the teet of a dummy his/her mouth only needs to be open just slightly...by giving him a dummy this will confuse him which way he should be sucking and how much his mouth should be open.
Can anyone tell me how long you should wait before you give your baby a dummy?

I ask this question because sooner or later the earth and its resources will become insufficient and depleted and we will have to look for other alternative measures in dealing with expansion and growth. i have been suffering depression for several years now. i have my good days... like when my sons were born... but for the most part i am almost always in a funk. i try to joke about serious things, just to make them a little less stressful. i try to pretend things don't bother me as much as they do. but some times it just gets so heavy in my heart and in my head that it seems as if there is no escaping it. i know many people recomend getting a job, but i have several physical conditions that limit what i can do. and i do get out almost every day and just... breathe. but that funky little blue thing... that demon that calls itself depression... stays very close behind me.

then, there are days when the end of everything seems so very easy to reach for. it's just right there. and if i just grab it... savor it.. everything will be ok. but two little voices remind me that i need to stay.. at least a little while longer. it's my boys... telling me they love me. and that they need me.

I’m dating my colleague 2 months ago, everything happens so fast, were just normal friends and co-worker before and we are not that close…. & then he started to call me and ask me out, at first I always turn him down coz I’m not attracted w/ him…But then I realize why don’t give it a try as I’m single and getting bored with my life.. Were going out every weekend and enjoys each others company. We are not officially on and nobody from the company knows about us so we are really formal in the office as if nothing is going on between us. Suddenly everything change, were not going out anymore…I ask him at least a reason why is this happening and he told me that he’s very busy with his masteral class and at the same time working in the office. I know I cannot demand anything to him because we are not committed. I decided to just leave him alone for him to concentrate with his priorities.…but of course I cannot deny the fact that I will still see him everyday at work …I slowly fall in love with this guy and this is killing me… Now I’m starting to move on and sent him an e-mail for the last time just to have a closure on what we have, I want piece of mind & at least be friends like we are before, but he replied to me and telling me to still hold on until he finishes his masteral. I’m really desperate, shall I continue this or just let him go, I didn’t see any effort from him to work things out. Please advise me..
