Since I don't watch telly, I get my stuff from youtube. And most of the series are old. The characters seem to change every few years and I for one do miss the blonde leading lady.
I'd hate to see it when the Dr himself begins his regeneration for the......11th time?

Rose was, indeed, a wonderful companion. She was spunky, brave, had a sense of humor ( a MUST when you travel with the Doctor!!) and she asked all the right questions. As a long time viewer of Doctor Who, I too, have trepidations about the Dr. regenerating. You never know what you are going to get. I loved some of the stories in the Colin Baker era (5th doctor) but I disliked the character of the Dr. himself. And Sylvester McCoy was just downright dreadful!! (7th Dr.) I thought that Paul McGann had a good chance to be a successful Doctor, but that Fox broadcasting did not give him a fair chance. AND they wasted a regeneration on him.... Boo Hiss Pew on them!!

Yes I do miss Rose Tyler and I read somewhere she is going to come back for a guest appearance because everyone has been saying that they miss her.
I love Doctor Who and also Captain Jack.
Always loved Doctor Who since I was kid and its great to be on the TV again.
I love watching the reruns on UK Gold.

Eh...made it back to the party. So much to discover about Yahoo Answers itself that it's astonishing.
And....David Tennent and Billie Piper are a perfect match for the program. It's just not the same without one or the other. A crazy nerd and a stable partner.

I find the new one is simply a black version! their acting is so similar!! Tennant is a top Doctor though Acting skills BRILLIANT!!
