i mean, i think they should not have boxing gloves any more as it doesnt realy simulate an acual fight, a fight is explosive, there is grabbing biting ect
and as martial artisits u have to react quick

im not dissing mma but i dont think it would do well in a real life situation, a guy with a knife against mma, i know who i would pick, because mma practices muay thai and bjj but only the sport side of it, its like saying sport tkd is effective on the street

My sister in law and I both have children her's are 6 and 24 months. My daughter is 36 months!When I was pregnant she hesitated to let me borrow her maternity clothes{ which were 4 years old} Then when she became pregnant I let her borrow some of the newer styled maternity jeans{ very xpensive} that I had purchased or were bought for me. I am now 12 weeks pregnant with #2 and she did not return my newer clothes.How should I go about asking without being rude or upseting? She told her mom that she didn't know what I was talking about! I'm really upset.Please Help!

Do you tip the fast food delivery guy???? What about the cabbie or the hairdressers? Sometimes people seem to get offended and look at me like I'm treating them like a charity case or look at me rudely if I don't tip. When is it appropriate and how much is too much?

I need everyones opinion... what brand of shoes do you prefer to run in? I have been using New Ballance and I like them but it is time for me to buy new ones and I would like to try another brand. What kind of shoes do you all prefer? Price is not an issue. You get what you pay for when it comes to shoes.

At this time because of my disability I'm living with family and recieve minimum disability income. My wife is my caretaker and we would like to know if there is anyone or any goverment agency where we can get housing assistance.Also because of having cancer where may I get information on getting life insurance. My wife and I don't know where or to whom to speak to forquestion we have. So here is hoping you'll be able to assist us and it will be greatly appreciated.

We've had hijackings before and we've had planes crashed after being hijacked. Could it be that our reaction to 911 was an overreaction? Would we have gone to war if the buildings had withstood the crashes? Going to war because a few planes get highjacked and get crashed into (I assume) poorly constructed buildings seems insane. A much saner reaction would have been special ops against the terrorists not invasion and occupation of a country which had nothing to do with the hijackings.

Was the cyclone that ripped through India a punishment on the people of India for following false Gods?
I went to Afternoon service today and our pastor talked about this incident. He said that this is what happens when you reject God for your entire country. I asked him if he could give me another example, and he said that Tsunami that killed 2 million people 2004/2005 was clearly God showing his anger and the unbelievers.
Let's take a moment to reflect on our own salvation and the glorious God that God is.

I think text mess. is for teenagers, not grown men and woman. My friend is 32 and single, I am amazed and annoyed that these professional men she meets send her text mess. to see how she is doing, and to ask her out. I think it's rude. But on top of that they include happy and sad faces. I told her that if they want to take her out, then they should call. She told me that I am out of the loop and this is how's done. Whose wrong, me or my friend.

From age 12-17, I was dealing with depression and I was also being self-destructive because of my circumstances and my memories.

From 17 -21, i got some medicine help and was improving.

From 21-23, I was very functional and somewhat at my peak.

From 23-25, I have been going downwards. Most of the things I psychological problems I had at age 12 resurfaced. I kept the problems suppressed because there were no ways of dealing with those problems. I might have began suppressing the problems around age 14, but I was not able to fully suppress them and get ahold of them of my life until I had help with medication.

Now, even with new medicine help, I do not think I can improve or get better because my college transcript is really messed up with lots of class and quarter withdraws.

Mostly, because of that, I have been getting even worse and I am going even more down. Everything from the last two years is weighing on me and causing me to get worse and worse.

Downwards.
