Ten cars containing a total of 32 people passed through a checkpoint. If none of these cars contained more than 4 people, what is the greatest possible number of these cars that could have contained exactly 2 people?

I picked E) 5. I'm doubtful of its correctness, so can anyone clarify or give me pointers how to arrive at the correct answer if I'm wrong?

My 43 year old older sister has all the old family home movies from the 1970s in her attic- I have a family of my own, and want copies- I could easily burn copies on dvd, for my family, her family and other relatives.....
I have been asking her for access to the films for 10 years- she keeps saying 'someday' she'll do something with the films- this is really starting to enrage me- my sister and i have never been really close- but those reels have footage of me with my late parents, i want copies for myself and my kids- The films clearly are not important to my sister- yet she refuses to send them to me, and refuses to lend them to me to copy...WHAT should i do?

There are consequences for all actions that are beyond our control.Higher Insurance rates for some of us because of those who go uninsured. Higher retail prices due to those who steal. Legal immigrants put on a back burner due to illegal immigration. It isn't fair but it's life. If we halted Legal immigration for even 1 year while they sort this mess out and implement some better means to track illegal immigrants and visa overstayers. Also better border enforcement. I do think we could get a good handle on the situation thus ensuring we don't have a repeat situation. This year would also give them the time to figure out what should and could be done with the millions aready here. Also giving us a better estimate on how many visa's should be allowed in the future so it doesn't disrupt OUR workforce.

What do you think? Would it be a viable solution?

Is it likely that the low grade metamorphics sandwiched between higher grade metamorphics in the Inner Piedmont of Alabama are the result of two episodes of hydrothermic flow through different levels (where the higher grades are?)

I'm not at all familiar with the geology there, so extra detail is welcome.

A freind of mine makes one that a) looks creamy b) has as much garlic kinck as any mortal can stand.
She is a vegan chef and wont give me the recipe. I am a cooking clutz - so I know I can't copy it unless i have some idea what I'm doing....

All I can tell you is that it has Sunflower oil, Garlic, three kinds of pepper (white, black, red) a dash of veggie worcheshire, and some liquid aminios in it....

Anyone have any idea how it gets creamy? there has to be somekind of process to make it that way, right?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Im 16 and 35 weeks pregnant.

Okay, I was playing with my airsoft gun and showing it to my friends. I was reloading it for my friend to shoot(20 rounds) and he went totally insane with it. Hurts pretty bad to be hit at close range with no gear. He shot the crap out of my girlfriend because he doesn't like her. Basically aiming for private areas. Now she is blaming me for the incident because I handed him the gun.

1. How can I explain that I didn't have any idea he would do that.
2. How bad would it hurt for a girl to be shot in the crotch?
