altho i do get some of the work. I dont get all of it. For example, i dont get this part.then just concentrate on the numerator...

1 = [A(x-1)(x+1) + Bx(x+1) + Cx(x-1)]

substitute x = 0 , 1 & -1to get the values of A,B & C...

at x = 0
1 = -A

at x = 1
1 = 2B

at x = -1
1 = 2C

thus
1/(x^3 - x) = (-1)/x + (1/2)/(x-1) + (1/2)/(x+1)

so what is A,B, and C, then? do i solve further for it or something? I'm trying but I am just really bad at math.

I have what I believe is a good idea for a non-fiction "season in the life" type sports book. The story will be more compelling a year from now and I am wondering how to go about seeing if any publishers may have interest.

Can anyone with experience tell me how to get started? Anything from who I would contact at the various publishers to see who to send my submission to and what to include in my proposal. Any type of protocol really.

Clearly I have very little experience in this realm, any further advice would be appreciated.

please how important is it to take lessons vs. trying to teach yourself? Or did you do both? Which is best way to learn fast, especially to be able to play beautiful pop songs? Thanks

Also how often do you practice and for how long? Anything really help you advance fast? (e.g. books DVDs or certain methods)

My sister's elementary school is having a fall carnival and I am making the signs. To avoid any relations with Halloween the carnival is story book character theme. Some examples are- Hansel & Gretel's cookie trail (cookie walk) Goofy's Golf, Reading Rainbow Book walk, & Princess Lolly's (Candy Land) Lolly Pop Pull. I need a character for glow necklaces (not really sure what kind of game it is), ring toss (throw a ring over a soda and get the soda), & the hay ride. I believe that the Roman Leigons were the best army!! Because of them the Roman Empire conquered most of the middle east. They were disciplined, well trained and their tactics and way of fighting was un rivaled!

When bad things happen, you pray to God, correct? Why do you overlook the fact that he's the cause of the bad things? Take the fires in Southern California for example. People are praying to God to stop the fires. But they don't realize that he's the cause. And I don't want any "God will do what is best" crap. What good can leaving 70,000+ people homeless do?
