Plax Burress
Brandon Marshall
Willis Mcgahee

team 2 gets
Larry Fitzgerald
Donte Stallworth

Thomas Jones

10-team league: QB WR WR WR RB RB TE DEF K, typical Yahoo! scoring (no PPR).
team 1's other RBs are Larry Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Brandon Jacobs. team 1's other WRs are Braylon Edwards, Dwayne Bowe, Andre Johnson.
team 2's only RBs are Mcgahee (on bye this week!) and Kenny Watson. team 2's other WRs are Boldin, Stokley, Galloway, Crayton.

Who gets the advantage in this deal? Is it fair to both sides?

Seems fair enough. Team 2 desperately needs running backs, and they get two, while Team 1 is getting a stud receiver, which is their weak position, and still gets a decent runner. I'd say team 2 is getting the better players overall, but considering the needs of the team, I'd call it a fair trade.

Well, Team 1 is overpaying for Plaxico -- simple as that.

Team 2 is getting a lot of valuable parts, some of which spell trouble.

Portis is very injury prone, and still has knee tendinitis.

Stallworth is a #2 at best who has only risen because Ben Watson is hurt.

Fitz has a fragile QB, and watches Boldin get all the TDs.

Thomas Jones has a QB on the verge of benching, and has only recently shown any signs of life.

It's a pretty fair deal. Not one that I would make personally, but there is no overt rip-off here. It's fairly balanced. Team 1 has the "sexier" players, and Team 2 gets depth.

The other players on each team don't matter. You can't base a trade on who is getting stronger.

I think right now Austin is a better keep than Marshall, but its about as fair as trades can probably get. Do you really have a reason to go through with the trade though? I think Giants D has more potential in the long run than does N.O. and Austin is better so far than is Marshall. It seems like this trade is much ado over nothing for you. personally, I wouldn't do it.

It's fair. Team 1 gets a stud WR. Team 2 gets to field a team with decent players. Both improve and both give up something. Of course if you want to, you could go to kffl.com and use thier trade analyzer.

yes it is fair.

team 2 has the advantage on this deal. They are getting what they really need more RBs...plus a couple of stud WRs in the process that will get them many points in FF.

seems fair to me.....i think team 2 is getting the better end of the deal, but the trade helps out team one too.....it seems like team 1 has a surplus of running backs and can afford to trade them away for plax
