Christianity has become very convenient, convoluted, and marketable. I honestly believe that worshipping God is the most difficult and challenging act humanly possible. I also believe that most people don't have the discipline and self-sacrifice needed to continue in absolute devotiong.

My opinion is that most are either cowards and hide behind the esteem of being an aethist, or are too self-centered and resort to customizing their own religions. On the flip side, is it possible that a "Personal Relationship with Jesus" is another way to customize, and make convenient, the most difficult calling in life: Serving God?

I need a measuring device not too expensive which I can use at home. I need a measuring device which measure distance by reflection of light and tell me the distance digitally. I don't want to use a meter tape. I need at least a device which measure at least a distance of 10m to 20m. Its like a do it your own tool.

I am positive that it is threaded correctly, but after stitching a length of approx 6 inches, the cotton snaps.

I have tried different threads, different tensions etc.

I know its a vague question but was just hoping someone may have experienced the same! Its driving me mad!

Hello,
I am fifteen years old and this Wednesday I have to see a pediatric cardiologist because I have recently had some abnormal EKG's. I am kind of nervous about seeing this new doctor, because I really don't know what to expect. Will they have to do lab work? Any more EKG's? Can someone please fill me in about what to expect on my initial visit with him? And info or insight is appreciated!

The only reason I am still waiting is because this will be a good low-priced investment. How long should it take to get an answer from a bank owned property in Ohio. Is there any rule on how many days they have to respond to an offer? Next time should I place an expiration date or will they not abide by it because it is a bank owned property?

My parents gave me a 1920's-1930's bedroom set that belonged to my great grandparents. I have all the pieces, vanity...original seat, etc. The most amazing piece is the bed with a WORKING turbe radio in the headboard. Has anyone ever seen such a thing? I can't keep it in my house, but it seems to be such an oddity, I was thinking of hanging on to it. If it's valuable, I can't simply throw it in the shed. If it's more common than I realized, then I might just sell it off. Anyone seen one or know where I can find out more info? Thanks!

Ever since i was 5 years old i use to drink a lot of coke n sprite at least 2 or 3 times a day. Also sometimes i use to skip meal n eat chocolates. As a teen i started to eat lot of fast food and hated healthy foods such as vegetables, fish, whole grain. Now at the age of 20 i have realized that i have ADHD. What can i do to improve?

Dad and I were in court this past summer because he filed a false abuse report against me with DHS. Anyway none of his allegations were ever proven (because he lied) and the judge ordered that we share legal & physical custody. The judge asked if we could work out the transfers and left it up to us. Dad at this point refuses to even talk to me or be civil & its assumed that I will always bring daughter to him. Last weekend I was unable to do that and he again called DHS with yet another false report. Since it was never ordered that I take daughter to him if I were to stop in light of his latest actions could he use that against me?
