Is it possible to get pregnant while on the first day of the new pill pack?

No more than any other day if you followed the timing rules for taking them. Within a certain time of your period you can't get pregnant because your body isn't ready to do so (which the rhythm method depends on). The pill picks up on that.

If you didn't miss any pills last month and started your new pack on the right day, it would be unlikely.

Watch those missed pills, they got me good! I conceived towards the end of the week of my placebo pills, and now my fiance and I are expecting!!

Taking the pill has serious side effect. Its dangerous in the long run. You health is wealth, sex is not worth it. Take care of your body and your health. Switch to the condom and that is the safest for sex, it will prevent STD and Aids.

If you are taking your pills as directed, your chances are very, very low...typically 99% of not being pregnant, but nothing's infallible.
